Anthony F. Borgese, 63, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Niagara Falls on June 8, 1952 to Frank and the late Marie (nee Paradise) Borgese.

A Niagara Falls native, Anthony was a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School and a proud graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. On October 22, 1988, the former Sharon Spendio married Anthony in St. Joseph Church. She passed away in 2008. Tony was a retired Sales Executive with Brown & Williamson and was a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and Xavier basketball fan. He also loved oldies music, classic cars, drinking coffee at all hours during the day and night, food and traveling to visit his family and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Borgese of Dallas, TX and Mary Borgese of Lexington, KY; his father, Frank A. (Jennie) Borgese of Niagara Falls; three sisters, Alberta (Murray) DeMartino of Grand Island, NY, Irene (Frank) Felicetti of Lewiston, NY and Marie (James) Massaro of Grand Island, NY; three sisters-in-law, Rita (James) Mijka of Niagara Falls, NY, Diane (Joseph) Cimino of Lewiston, NY and Christine (David) Rulli of Niagara Falls, NY; his special aunt, Connie Borgese of Niagara Falls, NY; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Anthony was predeceased by his mother and his wife of 20 years, the late Sharon (nee Spendio) Borgese and his mother and father-in-law, the late Mary and Frank Spendio.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Anthony's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME.
