Mrs. Wilhelmina Roggow, seventy-three years old, died this morning at her home in Bergholtz, north of the Tonawandas, after a lingering illness. She was born in Germany. The last forty-two years of her life was spent in Bergholtz. She is survived by a son William Roggow of Bergholtz; a daughter, Mrs. Theidore Buck of Niagara Falls, four grandchildren and on great-grandchild, a sister, Mrs. August Behm of Cambra Center and a brother Albert Hiddle of Niagara Falls. Evelyn moved to Barker when she married the late Norman Capell on August 9, 1941. She especially enjoyed the company of her granddaughter.

Evelyn is survived by her children Pamela (Peerce Lake) Harper of Florida and Douglas (Sue) Capell of Gasport; grandmother of Matthew (Julianna Kiley) and Maggie Capell; brother-in-law Everett Fitchlee; and Ella. She was pre-deceased by twin sons Dale and David, siblings Elton Behm, Geraldine Waters, Mildred Eick, Delbert Behm, Ruth Fitchlee, Iverna Behm, Harold Behm, and Marilyn Gauda.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne (nee Martin) Behm. Brother of Delores (late Robert) Batt and the late Kermit Behm and the late Bonita Thursam. Dear companion of Eleanor Stahl.

Theodore F. Buck, 67, of 27.01 Welch Ave., owner
of Bucky's Bowling Lanes and an active bowler
himself, died Sunday (July 30, 1967) in Memorial
Hospital,
Mr. Buck, a native of Berg
holtz, had lived in the city for
the last'60 years. He was employed
by Moore Business
Forms for 40 years, and retired
in 1954 as planning department
head. After his retirement,
he p u r c h a s e d
Kajfacz Bowling Lanes and
operated it as Bucky's Lanes,
2701 Welch Ave., until his
death.
Mr. Buck was a former
member of the Elks and of the
Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors include a son,
Raymond E. Buck; a daughter,
Mrs. Lee (Lucile Jane)
Bickford; a brother, William
Buck; seven grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren,
all of this city.
His wife, the former Helen
Marcklinger, died in 1963.
Funeral services will be held
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
at 8:1.5 a.m. Wednesday and
at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Church. Burial will be in Gate

WHEATFIELD - Mathilda Melvinie Ella Jagow (Rubbert), age 93, of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on December 1, 2010 at her residence, with her loving family at her side and under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on August 24, 1917 to the late Edward and Helena (Roggow) Rubbert. A devoted lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she was active with the Ladies Aid, the Quilters and was employed as the custodian for the church and school for many years. She was also a member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, gardening and baking.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry E. Jagow on March 19, 1946. They were united in marriage January 24, 1934; and a son, Delbert Jagow.

Survivors include four children, Leonard Jagow of Villages, FL, Donald Jagow of Niagara Falls, Norman Jagow of Machias, NY, and Helen Jagow of Niagara Falls; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach on Saturday at 11:00 AM in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Luther Street and Niagara Road. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
