    WHEATFIELD - Howard R. Sattelberg, age 88, of Wheatfield, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born July 1, 1922 in North Tonawanda, son of the late George and Minnie Sattelberg.

    Mr. Sattelberg served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from the DuPont Plant in the Town of Tonawanda, where he held positions in shipping and receiving. Mr. Sattelberg was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, member of the DuPont Retiree's Club and the American Legion Post 264.

    Husband of the late Mary M Sattelberg (nee Bishop); beloved father of Carol Sattelberg and the late Alan ( Mary) Sattelberg; brother of the late LaVern Sattelberg; brother-in-law of Dorothy Watt, Carolyn (Leonard) Sicurella and the late Helen Bowman; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 9:30 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Please assemble at church.) Interment with Military Honors in White Chapel Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
