SARKOVICS - Julius J. Sarkovics, 65, of 7127 Ward Road, Town of Wheatfield, Monday (Feb. 12, 1973) at the Delaware Avenue Nursing Home after a long ijlness. Born in North Tonawanda, Mr. Sarkovics was a member and trustee of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, a member of the Holy Name Society, and a 25-year member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company. He was employed as meat manager at the A&P for 35 years, retiring in 1967.He is survived by his wife, Meta Krueger Sarkovics; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Metcalf of North Tonawanda; Mrs. John Holody of San Jose, Calif.; two sons, Roger of Abingdon, Va., and Rodney of North Tonawanda; two brothers, Francis Sarkovics and Charles Sharkey of Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Mary McCully of North Tonawanda; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St.. North Tonawanda. where prayers will be said Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 o'clock in St Joseph's Church. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
