    of St. John Porent-Teacher League and
    on employe of Durez. He is survived
    bv his wife Margaret (nee Thiemiecke),
    a daughter, Peggy Ann, his mother,
    Mrs. Ella Vorpahl ond two brothers,
    Melvln ond Carlton Vorpohl, both ot
    North Tonawanda. Friends may edit
    ot the Fretthold Funerol Home Inc.,
    1241 Oliver St. Of Ward Rood, North
    Tonawanda, until .1 p.m. Sunday. The
    body will lie In state In St. John
    Lutheron Church from ,1:30 until 2:30
    p.m. Sunday, time of service. The Rev.
    Clarence W. Robe will officiate. Interment
    In. St. John Lutheron Cemetery.
    The family will be In attendance from
    24 ond 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be
    mode to the St. John Lutheran Church
    Building Fund.

    for the last 23 years.. He was
    a member of St. J o h n 's
    Lutheran Church, the church
    coir, was an elder of the
    church, member of the
    Lutheran League, president of
    St. John's Parent Teachers
    League and past president of
    Twin City Bowling League,
    He was employed by the
    Durez Division of Hooker
    Chemical Corp.
    He is survived by his.wife,
    Margaret Thiemeck Vorpahl; a
    daughter, Peggy Ann Vorpahl;
    his mother, Mrs. Ella Vorpahl
    and two brothers, Melvin and
    Carlton Vorpahl all of this.city.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    ft 2:30 p.m. Sunday In
    St. John's Lutheran Church by
    the Rev. Clarence W. Rabe.
    Burial will be in St. John's
    Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 1 to
    4 and 7 to 8 p.m., and until
    1 p.m. Sunday at the Fretthold
    Funeral Home.
