    Leona M. Plough, Former Resident of Salamanca.
    SALAMANCA - Mrs. Leona M. Plough, 87, formerly of Washington Street, Salamanca, died Tuesday (June 20, 1995) at the home of her son, James Plough of Jefferson City, Tenn., after a long illness. Born Nov. 12, 1907, in Meadville, Pa., she was a daughter of Clifford and Maude Harley Moffatt. She was married to Henry Plough, who predeceased her. Mrs. Plough was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Morristown, Tenn., and a former member of the Methodist Church in Salamanca. Surviving are a son, James (Gretchen) Plough of Jefferson City; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Warrenberger of Florida; a brother, Claude Moffatt of Ohio; and a nephew. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Plough; and a daughter, Ann Louise Plough. Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, Thursday (June 22, 1995) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Willis Webb, retired minister of visitation for the First Congregational United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Little Valley.

    Rites Set For Orleans Cycle Victim
    BATAVIA - Services for Keith D. Plough, 21, of 8205 North Pembroke Road, Town of Pembroke, who was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident in Orleans County Tuesday evening (March 31, 1981) will be at 2 Friday afternoon at the H.E. Turner & Co. Inc. Mortuary here. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, East Pembroke. Authorities said be was northbound on Route 63 near the Village of Medina in Orleans County about 6:30 Tuesday night when his cycle and a pickup truck operated by Ray C. Chamberlain, 64, of Fox Road, Wyoming, collided. Medina Fire Department ambulance personnel transported Plough to Medina, Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He suffered multiple injuries. Chamberlain, and his wife, Arleve, (sic) 56, a passenger, escaped injury. Plough was a native of Batavia and son of James and Gretchen Haseley Plough, with whom he lived. He was a graduate of Pembroke Central High School and bad been employed at the U.S. Gypsum Co. plant in Buffalo. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church In Batavia. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Adele; and a brother, Todd, both at home; his parents (sic), Mrs. Edna Haseley of Niagara Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Plough of Salamanca.
