    TOWN OF CAMBRIA — Harold E. Wilkins, age 96, of the Town of Cambria, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at his residence, under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice.

    Harold was born May 27, 1915 in Newfane, the son of the late Elmer and Edith (Schultz) Wilkins. He married Leona (Donner) Wilkins on September 21, 1940, and they have resided in Cambria since 1957. Harold was a Cabinet Maker, employed by Kittinger Furniture in Buffalo for 17 years. He retired in 1980. Previous to that, Harold worked for Richmond Manufacturing, Richardson Boat Company in North Tonawanda, and had built houses.

    He was a long-time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge where he had served on numerous committees through the years. Harold enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing and the Cambria Friendship Club.

    In addition to his wife, Leona, he is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Michael) Polizzi of West Falls, NY and Sharon (Charles) Fleming of Lafayette, IN; his grandsons, Michael J. Polizzi, Curtis and Brent Fleming; and five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Elton Wilkins and a sister, Edna Miles.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Town of Cambria, with the Vicar Robert Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094; Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094; or to a charity of one's choice.     Charles A. Miles 70, of Cambria, NY, husband of 43 years to Linda (Balcom) Miles, passed away on Sunday April 14, 2019 in the Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 23, 1949, he was the son of the late Van and Edna (Wilkins) Miles. Charles served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972.  Mr. Miles married Linda Balcom on April 10, 1976. He was an assembly line worker, employed by Harrison Radiator/GM for 32 years, retiring in 2002. Charles was an avid racing and sports fan, and he had passion for trains, and John Deere tractors. He had a great love for his dogs.
    Surviving is his wife Linda; his son Christopher Miles (Sonia Reed); 3 daughters, Erin Miles (Paul Saunders), Kara Miles and Ashlee (Michael) Shea; his brother Darryl Miles, 11 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
    Family and friends may call on THURSDAY from  2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held on FRIDAY (April 19th) at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Mark Auernhamer officiating. Interment will follow in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY.

Father of Brett (Rebecca) Miles of Amherst, NY and Barton (Kristina) Miles of Lockport, NY. Grandfather of Lillian Miles. Brother of the late Charles Miles.
