Ridge Road, Lockport, who
died Monday (Feb. 7, 1972) at
Ransomville General Hospital
after a brief illness.
Mr. Herbst was bom in the
Town of Clarence and had
operated a farm in the Town of
Cambria for 60 years. He was
the widower of the late Helene
Trippensee Herbst. He was a
member of St. Peter's United
Church of Christ, Lockport.
Mr. Herbst is survived by a
daughter, Miss Dolores Herbst,
at home; a sister, Mrs. William
(Sophia) Wendler of Attica,
and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday at the
Hardison Funeral Home Inc.,
Ransomville, with the Rev.
Richard Scheffler, minister of
St. Peter's, officiating. Burial
will be in North Ridge
Cemetery, Town of Cambria.
Friends may call from 7 to 9
and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

CAMBRIA CENTER - Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday for Henry John Herbst, 71. of Ridge Rd, well known Niagara County fruit and vegetable
grower. The Rev. Herbert Siegner, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed
Lutheran Church, Lockport, will conduct the service at the family home where Mr. Herbst died unexpectedly Saturday June 2, 1956). Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Herbst had arrived home from Memorial Hospital. Niagara Falls, where he had been undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment, only 15 minutes before he was fatally stricken. A native of Clarence, Mr. Herbst had operated a farm here for 14 years- and had been active in farm organizations. In addition to his wife, Ida Trippensee Herbst, he is survived by a son, Elmore Herbst. at home; a daughter, Mrs. Ward Gaskill, Newfane; three brothers, August Herbst, Williamsville, Herman Herbst, Clarence, and Albert Herbst, Cambria; two sisters. Mrs. Frederick Bugenhagen, Lockport, and Mrs. William Wendler, Attica, and four grandchildren.

SHAWNEE - Mrs. Minnie L. Bugenhagen, 74, of 4616 Lockport Rd.,'Town of Pendleton, died Saturday (May 30, 1964) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a month's illness. She was born Jan. 23, 1890, in Clarence Center, N.Y., the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Ziemendorf Herbst, and lived in this area for 41 years. She is survived by her husband, Fred J. Bugenhagen; a daughter, Mrs. Everett Masters, Shawnee; two sons, Marvin, Shawnee, and Carlton, Lockport; a sister, Mrs. Sophia Wendler, Darien Center; a brother, Albert Herbst, Lockport, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Pike & Jones funeral home, Hoover Rd., Sanborn, 2 p. m. Monday. Rev. Kenneth H. Kolbe officiating. Burial will be in Clarence Center Cemetery. TOWN OF CAMBRIA — Dolores M. Herbst, age 93, of the Town of Cambria, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence after a brief illness. Dolores was born on August 5, 1918 in the Town of Cambria, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Trippensee) Herbst.

She was a graduate of Lockport High School and was employed as a Secretary/Accounting Clerk by Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls, NY for 40 years. Dolores was a member of the Lockport United Methodist Church of Christ and a past member of the Cambria Historical Society. She enjoyed the Senior Citizens groups, traveling, crossword puzzles and cross stitching.

Dolores is survived by many loving cousins and second cousins.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday, April 9th from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth M. Bugenhagen, age 78 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly at his residence on November 14, 2017. Born in Lockport, NY on April 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Marvin and Agnes (Hassan) Bugenhagen.
Survived by his loving wife Judith, of 55 years; children Sheryll Fromwiller, Michael (Maria) Bugenhagen, Linda Cooper, and Donald (Diana) Bugenhagen; seven grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Melissa, Amanda, Jessica, Victor, and Heather; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Jack. Predeceased by sister, Carol Barber. Survived by brother-in-law, Ronald Barber and several nieces and nephews.
Ken was employed at Battenfeld Grease & Oil in North Tonawanda until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in the southern tier, hunting, gardening, wine making, beekeeping and reading westerns.
Friends are invited to join with the family, on Saturday (November 18), from 1-3 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, to celebrate Ken’s life. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Flight or Tri-Community Ambulance Service.

Also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Christian and Jotham, and nieces and nephews.
