    Carl C. Trost Carl C. Trost, 72, of Altamont died Monday at St. John's Hospital.

    He was born Oct. 5, 1916, the son of William and Matilda Zander Trost. He was a farmer. He married Irene Milleville in 1940 and she died in 1953. He married Laverne Stuemke in 1957, and she died in 1986. Mr. Trost was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, NFO, Farmers Union and the Mill Road Thresherman Association.
    Surviving are two sons, Arthur Trost and Charles S Stuemke, both of Altamont; three daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Emily) Klitzing of Altamont, Mrs. Ferdinand (Shirley) Sugent of Springfield and Mrs. Don (Sharon) Hiser of Birchwood, WI.; one brother, Raymond of Mason; and three sisters, Eleonore Winter, Wilma Riech and Mrs. Clarence (Arvilla) Beccue, all of Altamont. Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont. Kull Funeral Home, Altamont, is in charge of arrangements.
