    Mrs Mary Birmingham, of 336
    Sixth street, resident of this city
    for the last 42 years, died early this
    morning in Mount Sst. Mary's hos-
    pital after a lengthy illness. She
    was 77 years old.
    Born in Germany, Mrs. Birming-
    ham came to the United states at
    an early age and was the wife of
    the late Patrick Birmingham of
    this city.
    Surviving are five sons, John L.,
    Frank N., Edward P., William N.
    and Joseph D. Birmingham, a
    daughter, Theresa M. Birmingham
    and four grandchildren, all of this
    city. William and Joseph Birming-
    ham are members of the Niagara
    Falls fire department.
    Funeral services will be held
    Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the
    Beatty funeral home, Main street
    at Chilton avenue, and at 9 a.m. in
    St. Mary's church. Burial will be in
    Gate of Heaven cemetery.

    John L. Birmingham. 51. assistant
    secretary of the Niagara Permanent
    Savings and Loan association and a
    World War 1 overseas veteran, died
    last night at his home. 426 Ninth
    street. He had been ill three
    months.
    Born In Buffalo. October 20. 1885.

    he had been a resident of this city
    for 50 years. Mr. Birmingham attended
    St. Mary's schools and Niag-
    ara university. His parents were the
    late Patrick and Mary Hoffman
    Birmingham.
    Prior to his employment by the
    loan association 26 years ago he was
    employed the passenger department
    of the New York Central railroad.
    He was promoted to assistant
    secretary of the loan association six
    years ago.
    During World War 1 he was as-
    signed to Company F. 174th Regi-
    ment Second Division and served
    overseas for two years. He was dis-
    charged as a corporal.
    Mr. Birmingham was a communi-
    cant of St. Mary of the cataract
    church, a member of the Niagara
    Council 247 Knights of Columbus
    and the John J. Welch Post 381,
    American Legion.
    On September 11, 1922, he was
    married to Miss Theresa D. Field,
    who survives.
    Other survivors Include: four

    brothers and a sister. William H..
    Prank M., Edward P. Joseph D.
    and Theresa M.- Birmingham, this
    city.
    Funeral services anil be held at
    9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beatty
    Funeral home, 1136 Main street and
    a half hour later at the church. In-
    terment will be in the Gate of
    Heaven cemetery.

    William H. Birmingham, 60,
    of 1350 North Ave, former
    Fire Department captain and
    a firefighter for 39 years, died
    today (June-7, 1958) after an
    apparent heart attack. He had
    been in failing health for some
    time.
    Mr.- Birmingham, pronounced
    dead upon arrival at Mt. St.
    Mary's Hospital, was stricken at
    his home at 8:30 a.m. Firemen
    administered oxygen for 17 minutes.
    Born in Buffalo, he came to
    this city with his family in 1898,
    He joined thjc Fire Department at
    19 years of. age in 1917. Four
    years later, he was appointed an
    engineer and in 1934 he was appointed
    captain. He retired in
    1945.
    Mr. Birmingham was a member
    of Sacred Heart Church and
    Niagara Lodge No. 838, Loyal
    Order of Moose. He was a veteran
    of World War 1 and saw
    service in France.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
    Beatrice L. Birmingham, and a
    daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean, this
    city; two brothers, Frank and Jo-
    seph D. Birmingham, both Niag-
    are Fals firefighters; one sister,
    Mrs. Edward Rozyczko, this city,
    and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the
    Redanz Funeral Home and at
    9:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
    Burial will be in Gatae of Heaven
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call after 2 p.m.
    Sunday.

    Edward P. Birmingham, 48, who
    came to Niagara Falls as a boy and
    lived here until five years ago, died
    Tuesday of a heart attack at New
    ark. N.Y.
    He is survived by three brothers,
    William H., Frank M. and Joseph
    D. Birmingham, all members of the
    Niagara Falls Fire department, and
    a 'sister, Mrs. Teresa Rosyczko,
    also of this city.
    The body is at the Beatty Funeral
    home. A Requiem Mass will be
    celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at St.
    Mary's of the Cataract church and
    interment will be in Gate of Heaven
    cemetery.

    Theresa M. Rozyczko
    Theresa M. Rozyczko, age 89, entered into rest on Friday, August 29, 2003, unexpectedly at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. Born September 1, 1913 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Hoffman) Birmingham. Theresa attended St. Mary's grammar school and graduated from St. Mary's High School. She then worked at NY Central as a switchboard operator. Theresa married the late Edward Rozyczko in 1947. She then began her career with Niagara County as a telephone operator, for the last 15 years before her retirement in 1972. Theresa was working as a switchboard operator. Mrs. Rozyczko was a member of St. Mary of the Cataract Church and enjoyed ceramics.
    Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Rozyczko, who passed away on August 1, 2002; a son, Patrick E. Rozyczko; brothers, Joseph, Francis, William, Edward and John Birmingham. She is survived by her son, Michael C. (Linda) Rozyczko; and a grandson, Michael Karl Rozyczko, a1l of Niagara Falls; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary, 339 22nd Street, Niagara Falls with Rev. Michael Burzynski officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

    David P. Birmingham  of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, NY.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 18, 1942, the son of the late Joseph and Letitia [Gawley] Birmingham.
    Mr. Birmingham graduated from Trott Vocational High School and served with the US Army.
    He was a police officer with the Niagara Falls Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1986 and later became a postal supervisor with the US POSTAL Service for the next 18 years.
    He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and attending all their sporting events, talking politics. He loved Niagara Falls and the drive from Lewiston to Youngstown along River Road.

    Mr. Birmingham is survived by his wife Elizabeth [Balys] Birmingham, one son Justin (Jill) Birmingham, two grandsons Tyler and Eli, a sister Joann Ryan and two nephews Patrick (Jackie) and William (Amy) Ryan.

    He was the brother of the late Michael Birmingham.

    His family will be present on Saturday from 3-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where Funeral Services followed Military Honors will be held at 6:00 PM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
    Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara PAL.

    Patrick E. Rozyczko, age 50, of Orchard Parkway, Niagara Falls, NY, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on Saturday, December 1, 2001, after having an apparent heart attack at his home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 30, 1950, the son of Edward and Theresa (Birmingham) Rozyczko. Patrick was a graduate of the former St. Mary's Elementary School, a 1968 graduate of the former Bishop Duffy High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Niagara University in 1973. Mr. Rozyczko was a caseworker for child welfare at the Niagara County Department of Social Services in Niagara Falls for 16 years. Patrick the transferred to the NYS Parole Bureau where he has been a Parole Officer for the past 12 years. A member of St. Mary of the Cataract R. C. Church, Patrick currently was the Head Usher at the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturdays. In his youth, he enjoyed playing street basketball with his friends. PatrIck was also a model-railroading enthusiast and often went to model railroading exhibits held in Niagara Falls. He often enjoyed going to local air shows with his twin brother Michael. His parents, Edward and Theresa (Birmingham) of Niagara Falls; a brother, Michael (Linda) Rozyczko of Lewiston; a nephew, Michael Rozyczko of Lewiston, survive Patrick. Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. at the Otto Radanz Funeral Home, LaSalle Park Chapel, 2215 Military Rd., Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Cataract R. C. Church, with its pastor, the Rev. Michael H. Burzynski officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
