WILSON-Mrs. Ada Upton,
70, 2802 Wilson-Cambria Road,
died today (Sept. 17, 1969) in
Mount St. Mary's Hospital after
a lengthy illness.
She was born March 31, 1899
in Belwood, Ont., the daughter
of Thomas and Elizabeth Roff
Conlin. She was married to
George Upton who died in 1954.
Mrs. Upton had been a registered
nurse at Niagara Falls
Memorial H o s p i t a l for
many years and also did private
duty nursing at area hospitals.
She is survived by six stepsons,
Cecil of Buffalo, Lawr-
ence of Roch e s t e r , Elwin,
Maurice, Clifford and Melvin
Upton, all of Wilson; a step
daughter, Mrs. Burton (Eliza
beth) Brant of Niagara Falls;
a brother, Willard Conlin of
Guelph, Ont., and a sister, Mrs
Harold (Etta) Holmes of Orangeville,
Ont.
Friends may call today and
Thursday at the Hamilton and
Clark Funeral Chapel. Services
will be held at the funeral
home Friday at 10 a.m. with
the Rev. Harold Faba of the
First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Belwood,
Ont.
