    LOCKPORT —
    Loretta Atwater passed away on December 31, 2012 at Good Shepherd Services in Seymour, WI. She was born on April 27, 1922 in Lyndonville, NY, the daughter of the late Fred and Vinona Voelker. She married the late Elwood Atwater April 25, 1942. He passed away on June 12, 2007.
    Loretta is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Tarajos of Lockport, NY; her son, Jeffrey (Karen) Atwater of Appleton, WI; four grandchildren, Lisa (Ron) Bolt of East Amherst, NY, Deniale (Todd) Steffen of Merrill, WI, Ryan (Lisa) Atwater of Green Bay, WI and Tracy (John) Larson of Appleton, WI; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marcia (Paul) Kenyon of Lyndonville, NY. She was predeceased by her sister, Bernice (William) Balschmiter; and her brothers, Leland and Raymond Voelker.
    Loretta and Elwood lived in Somerset, NY, for many years. Loretta retired from Harrison Radiator, General Motors, May 1977. After retiring, she and Elwood moved to St. Petersburg, FL, where they lived until 2000. They then moved to Appleton, WI. Loretta and Elwood enjoyed traveling and went on 22 cruises and drove cross-country many times.
    Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1708 Pallister Ave., Barker, NY on Friday from 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held on SATURDAY at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Hartland Cemetery. Donations may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 1449 Quaker Road Barker, NY 14012 or to Good Shepherd Services, 607 Bronson Road, Seymour, WI, would be appreciated by the family.
