    Monday for Ksavery Walezak,
    75, of 1344 North Ave., who died
    Thursday, (Aug. 21, 1969) in
    Memorial Hospital after a long
    illness.
    Mr. Walezak, a barber who
    had operated his own shop at
    1123 Garden Ave. for 35 years,
    had been a patient in the
    Restwell Nursing Home since
    June 6.
    He was a member of the St.
    Michael Archangel S o c i e t y ,
    Polish Roman Union of
    America, Group 276.
    His wife, Agnes Urbanska
    Walezak, died May 12.
    He is survived by a sister,
    Mrs. Sophie Orszulak, and a
    sister-in-law, Mrs. Katherine
    Walezak, both of this city; three
    brothers, Stanley, Roman and
    Peter Walezak, all of Poland,
    and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the
    Zajac Funeral Home and at
    10:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart
    Church. Burial will be in Holy
    Trinity Cemetery.
    The rosary will be recited at
    8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
    home.
    Friends may call from 7 to
    9 p.m. today and from 2 to
    5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
    and Sunday at the funeral
    home.

    LOCKPORT — Marie L. Maslowski passed away on July 26, 2012 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls on August 15, 1914, she was the daughter of Alexander and Katherine (Klos) Walezak.

    Marie worked as a clerk in the production department at Harrison Radiator for many years. She traveled world-wide with the UAW Travel Club. She was also a member of the Camera Club, Organ Society, many different garden clubs. She loved her roses and African violets. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Walter Maslowski in 1975.

    Marie is survived by her son, Walter (Judith) Maslowski of Key West, Florida: grandmother of Rebecca (Nick) Pietruszka of Boca Raton, Florida and Stephen Maslowski of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; great-grandmother of Grace, Jane and Elyse Pietruszka; sister of Helen Walezak of Tonawanda, NY and the late Felix (late Helen) Walezak of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews and their families and many cousins and friends.

    A Memorial Mass in memory of Marie will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St. Lockport at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Cold Springs Cemetery.

    Helen I. Walezak, 97, of the Town of Tonawanda, passed away on December 3, 2020 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Klos) Walezak.
    Helen graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1941.  She was an Auxiliary Policewoman with the Niagara Falls Police Department for 20 years until her retirement in 1989.  She also worked as a Licensed Real Estate Agent for several years. 
    Helen was a member of the Niagara Falls Police Club, The New York State Association of Retired Law Enforcement Personnel, and an Honorary Member of the New York State Sheriff’s Association.  She was also a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild of New York City, and active with the Opera Buffs of Western NY, where she served on the Board of Directors for many years.  In addition, she volunteered with the Niagara Falls Chapter of the American Red Cross, and also with the Niagara County SPCA, where she was a “Grand Friend” member.
    Helen is survived by her daughter, Susan (Thomas) Maio of Englewood, OH, and her sons, Paul Ensminger, of North Tonawanda and Daniel Ensminger of Reading, MA, as well as 3 grandsons.
    There will be no prior visitation or services.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Western New York Chapter of the American Red Cross, 786 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209.  Arrangements by M.J.     Chester Orzulak, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at home under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls on May 30, 1923 he was the son of the late Anthony and Sophie (Walezak) Orszulak. He entered the United States Army March 10, 1943 serving during World War II. Receiving the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged on February 28, 1946 as a T-Sgt. After his service Chester worked at DuPont until his retirement.

    He is survived by numerous friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his three brothers, Matthew, Victor and Vincent Orszulak and one sister, Genevieve Stack.

    NO PRIOR visitation. A Memorial Mass with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
