    St., here, died today (Dec. 20, 1967) at Lockport Memorial
    Hospital after a long illness.
    A lifelong resident of this
    city, he was born here March
    17. 1873, the son of Robert J.
    and Sarah E. Moulton Wallace.
    Educated in Lockport schools,
    he was a graduate of the
    former Union School of Lockport.
    A letter carrier in charge of
    parcel post for 35 years, he re-
    tired 29 years.ago.
    Beginning during World War
    II and continuing for a period
    of eight years, he served as a
    shipping clerk at the Aluminum
    and Brass Co. Corp- of Lock-
    port.
    Mr. Wallace, an ardent fisher-
    man, was a former member of
    Lockport Lodge 73 F&AM.and
    also was a former member.
    secretary, past noble grand and
    district deputy of the former
    Cataract lodge IOOF, which
    later m e r g e d with several
    local lodges to form the United
    Lodge 98, IOOF of Lockport. .
    Surviving are a daughter.
    Mrs. Ruth G. Keller of Niagara
    Falls; two sons, Robert
    L. and Donald H. Wallace, both
    of Lockport; seven grandchildren,
    nine great grandchildren
    and one great-great-grandchild:
    two sisters, Mrs. Clara Wolf and
    Mrs. Elizabeth Gath, both of
    Kenmore and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Beginning this evening, friends
    may call at Lange Funeral
    Home where services will be
    held Friday at 11 a.m.
    Bunal will be in Cold Spring
    Cemetery.

    Marian L. Burkard Hensel, formerly of 93rd Street and Bollier Avenue, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Weinberg Campus, Rosa Coplan Home, following a lengthy illness. She was 93. She was born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY on May 31, 1915, a daughter of the late Harold and Louella (Wallace) Stricker.She attended area schools. Mrs. Hensel was employed as a floor manager for Nabisco Shredded Wheat for 44 years. She retired in 1976. She was a long time member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, bingo and card playing. She was predeceased by husbands’, Russell Burkard in 1960; and Paul Hensel in 2000.Survivors include a nephew, Edward Stricker, Jr. (Jean) of Niagara Falls; two nieces, Dana Menegatos (James) of Las Vegas and Janice Walter of Niagara Falls; also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands’, she was predeceased by her twin, Edward J. Stricker, Sr.; and her brother, Wallace H. Mr. Stricker was a WWII army veteran. He taught history and economics at Niagara Wheatfield High School from 1958-1989.     Bonita Jeanne (Wallace) Shanesey of Niagara Falls, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Schoellkopf Health Care Center. She was 89. She was born in Niagara Falls on December 24, 1925, the daughter of Clarence and Aileene (Crafts) Wallace.

    In earlier years, she worked for the former Spirella Corset Company and for 30 years she worked for the Niagara Gazette in the classified advertising department. She retired from full time employment in 1986 but continued part time for several years.

    She had a love for life and socializing. She enjoyed her visits to area coffee shops, the casino, her lottery tickets and watching game shows.
    Mrs. Shanesey was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John W. Shanesey, Jr.
    She is survived by her sister, Bernice Irwin of Sparks, NV; nieces and nephews, Tim and Jan Irwin; Patrick and Mel Irwin and Gregory and Tricia Irwin; her dear friends, Ginny Stepien; Cynthia and Mark Cramer and Dr. Robert Mahood. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

    There will be no prior visitation. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Memorial Park Cemetery. The LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., is handling the funeral arrangements.

    Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara W. Keller. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 3, 1922, the son of the late John H. and Ruth W. (Wallace) Keller.
    Mr. Keller graduated from Niagara Falls High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married the former Barbara Wernlund in January 1946.   He worked as a licensed surveyor and professional civil engineer from 1946 until he retired in 1994.   He was an enthusiastic figure skater into his 80s, and for many years was a dedicated member of the Buffalo Skating Club.
    He was a devoted and much-loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Mr. Keller is survived by three daughters, Donna (John) Varnedoe, Sharon K. Pirinelli and Jennifer L. Keller; one son, John C. Keller; seven grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Gregory (Lisa) and Alyssa Pirinelli, Joseph (Felisha), Thomas (Susan) deBlaquiere and Michelle Langaker; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, William, Ava, Bella, Livvy, Tessa, and Naomi. Also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jane Keller Jackson.
    A private celebration of his life will be held by family members.

    Wallace married WERNLUND, Barbara about 1946. Barbara (daughter of WERNLUND, Christiann J and AUCHENPAUGH, Edith) was born on 5 Nov 1923 in Staten Island, Richmond County, NY; died on 21 Sep 2014 in Sanborn, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Gary B. Wallace passed away September 11, 2023 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center.  Born March 13, 1941 in Lockport he was the son of Donald and Esther (Dussault) Wallace.  Gary worked at Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 35 years, retiring as a Supply Clerk.  He enjoyed model building, fishing, and boating.  Gary was a member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club and was a past member of the Elks Club.
    Gary is survived by his brothers Roger (Darlene) Wallace and Jon (Eileen) Wallace; nephew Bret Wallace; niece Dr. Kori (David) Wallace-Glickman, MD PhD.
    Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
