LOCKPORT - Otto Rankie,
73, of 6647 Tonawanda Creek
Road, Town of Lockport, died
Saturday (Oct 14, 1972) at
Mount View Hospital after a
long illness.
A native of the Town of Lockport,
he was born March 3,
1899, the son of Fred and Anna.
Rankie. He was employed by
the Town of Lockport Highway
Dept for 35 years, retiring 18
years ago.
He is survived by his wife,
Florence Van Buren Rankie;
two daughters/ Mrs. Lou
(Evelyn) Wilber and Mrs.
Henry (Doris) Wiltberger, both
of Lockport; three sisters, Mrs.
Floyd Rbckwood of Pendleton;
Mrs. Ellis Van Buren of
Lockport and Mrs. Marcus
Schiendel of Royalton; two
brothers, Howard and Richard
Rankie both of Lockport; seven
grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren
and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the
Lange Funeral Home where
services will be held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday with the Rev. Lee
Miller, pastor of the First
English Lutheran Church
officiating.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemetery.

Obituary of Doris R. Wiltberger
Doris R. Wiltberger of Lockport, NY, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Elderwood of Lockport. Born on February 18, 1926 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Florence (VanBuren) Rankie. Doris appreciated nature, loved animals and wildlife, and took great delight in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church.Doris was predeceased by her husband, Henry R. Wiltberger, her son, Thomas Wiltberger, son-in-law, Craig Harmon and sister, Evelyn Wilber. She is survived by her children, Pamela (late Craig) Harmon and James B. Wiltberger; grandchildren, Corey (Allison) Harmon and Todd (Jennifer) Harmon, great-grandchildren, Samantha Grace and Max Henry and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, February 19th at 9:30 AM. in Cold Springs Cemetery.
