Notes:

CHERRIE A. CASSARO, age 76 of Wheatfield, New York, entered into rest on January 14, 2020 at the Northgate Health Care Facility- Hospice unit. Born in Buffalo, New York on January 27, 1943; daughter of the late James and Jean (Robertson) Garner. Cherrie was a North Tonawanda High School graduate, and was employed as a waitress for over forty years at several local restaurants. She enjoyed playing cards and spending quality time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Wendy) Crossley; two grandchildren, Alana (Joe) Edel and Richard James Crossley; and two sisters, Jean (Daniel) Wendt, and Patricia (dec'd Thomas) Fulton. Predeceased by her parents, and a brother, David (Pat) Garner.
Cherrie requested to have her body donated to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Department. Friends are invited to join with her family for a Celebration of Life, on Wednesday, January 22, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Classics V Banquet Hall, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, NY.
