RANSOMVILLE, June 24.-Mrs.
Louise Werth, 90 years old, died at the
home of.her daughter, Mrs. William
Koepke, Jr., Wednesday, June 23. Be-
Mes her daughter she leaves two sons,
August, of Ransomville, and Charles,
of Baltimore, Ohio, 11 grand children
three great grandchildren. Mrs.
Werth was born In Germany and had
resided In this vicinity for the past 65
years.
The funeral will be held Sunday
afternoon at 2 o'clock daylight saving
time from the eGntle funeral parlors
here and at 2:30 from the Creek Road
Lutheran church. The Rev. Ganthine
will officiate. Interment will be at
the Creek Road Lutheran cemetery.

NORTH TONAWANDA -
Carl W. Werth, 51, operator of
a farm in Hunt S t r e e t,
Bergholtz, died Monday (Sept.
23, 1968) at Niagara Falls
Memorial Hospital.
He was found next to his
tractor outside Wilbert's Tavern
in Niagara Falls Boulevard, and
was pronounced dead on arrival
at the hospital. Reports of an
autopsy were inconclusive today.
Born in Pontiac, Mich., he
lived in the Town of Wheatfield
for the last 35 years.
Survivors include his mother,
Mrs. Emma Zappendorf of
Bergholtz; two brothers, John
of Grand Island, Donald of
Tonawanda, and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday
in the Wattengel Funeral Home
by the Rev. Robert H. Rose.
Burial will be in St. John
Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends may call from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the funeral
home.

Werth, age 89, of North Tonawanda, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his residence after a long illness. Born in Troy, MI, he was the son of the late Charles and Emma (nee Zappendorf) Werth and was an Army veteran of WWII. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, Donald had been employed at the Exolon Company and was a life member and Past Commander of the American Legion, Tonawandas Post No. 264. He was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (nee Wienke) Werth; two daughters, Joselyn D. Szafranski and Rebecca (Samuel) Albert; and six grandchildren, Eric Szafranski, Christine (Jeff) Schroer, Samuel (Mackenzie) Albert, Wesley J. Albert, Brandon M. Albert and Stephanie (Marc) Eberz. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mildred Janice Rubert, 78, of Lockport, New York, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Niagara County Hospice after a short illness. Mildred 'Millie' was born in Lockport to David Arter and Irene (Werth) Oakes on May 27, 1938. Millie married Nicholas H. Rubert on October 15, 1958 in Lockport. Millie was a proud employee of Chet's Dog House for three generations. Millie enjoyed donating to numerous organizations, loved the casino, bingo, Cafora Restaurant and spending time with her family and friends. Millie's love for her grandsons, Coulton and Brandon, was immense and they always brought the biggest smile to her face. Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Rubert; her mother-in-law, Mary Rubet; mother and step-father, Joseph and Irene Oaks; brother, Robert Arter; and sister, Carol Oakes Conden. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Rose (Paul) Wagoner; grandsons, Coulton and Brandon LaRoach; and their father, Roger LaRoach; brother-in-law, Joseph (Donna) Rubert; sisters, Jane Oakes (John) Cogovan, Lynda Oakes Kirkman; brother, Richard Oakes; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Arter; step-sister, Betty Monagon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marie L. Fry passed away November 20, 2022 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born March 18, 1937 in Lewiston she was the daughter of Albert and Ella (Kupke) Witkop.  Marie worked for 29 years at Harrison Radiator Div of GM in production, retiring in 1991.  She enjoyed the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, playing BINGO, gardening, crocheting, and especially enjoyed being with her family.  Marie was predeceased by her husband, Marvin “Dutch” Fry, daughter Debora Wagner, and sister Sara Witkop.
Marie is survived by her children Donna (late Shorty) Massaro, Joy (late Randy) Cummings, Tom (Sherry) Dunn, Marvin (Linda) Fry, Brenda (Jim) Glaser, and Gail (Ralph) Friedrich; son-in-law Frank Wagner; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews and Charlie the cat.
