A memorial service will be held at the Youngstown Presbyterian Church on October 16th at 4:00 PM. Donations may be made in her name to the Sanborn Fire Company Band, Save A Pet or the Upper Mountain Fire Company.

    Arnold P. “Arnie” Widmer, age 81, of Ransomville, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, Ny. Arnie was born on January 31, 1941, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Frederick and the late Lillian (Zahno) Widmer. Arnie graduated from Lew-Port CSD in 1959. He enjoyed snowmobiling, stock car racing, hunting, fishing, and helping out Don McGinnis Racing.He served in the U.S Army from 1963 to 1965 and was employed by Washington Mills in Niagara Falls, NY as a Millwright for 37 years retiring in 2002. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.No services will be held. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park, Town of Lewiston, NY.Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14263, www.roswellpark.org/giving.
