Mrs. Katherhie Mack, widow of
John E. Mack and one of the most j
widely known residents of the north!
end section of the city, died today at
her home, 1661 Ontario avenue. She
was 83 years old and had been ill
only two weeks. Plans for the funeral
have not been completed.
Born In Wurten, Germany, Mrs.
Mack came to Niagara Falls when
she was 16 years old and had lived
here ever since. She was held in
the highest esteem among a wide
circle of friends, she was a member
of the Zlon Lutheran church for the
past 67 years and was an active
worker in numerous church affairs
She was a member of the Ladles Aid
society of the church and of Riverdae
Rebekah Lodge. No. 195, I.O.O.P.
Mrs. Mack is survived by three
sons, Jacob, Charles and John Mack,
all of this city; four daughters, Mrs.
John Gassier, Mrs. Fred Winker and
Mrs. Louis Hudson, of this city, and
Mrs. Herman Quester. of Sanborn;
21 grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren

in Hollyhill, Fla., according to

Mr. Winker, who was in the contracting
business for 20 years in this

Funeral services and burial will

"Al" Hudson, 91, of Charlton, MA and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, following a brief illness.He was born on September 25, 1918 in Niagara Falls, NY and was the son of the late Louis D. and Caroline (Mack) Hudson. He worked at the Tam Ceramics as a Senior Manager in Niagara Falls, for over 50 years, retiring in 1983. He was a graduate of the Missouri School of Mines, where he was a member of the Sigma Pi Epsilon fraternity. He was also a member of the Niagara River Masonic Lodge in Niagara Falls for 67 years. During World War II, he served with U.S. Navy as a member of the Sea Bees.He was the husband of Colette (Simard) Hudson, to whom he had been married to for 47 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Lysanne LaPierre and her husband, Dean of Andover; two grandchildren, Nicole and Cameron LaPierre; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Norm Hudson, Kathryn Eitel and Jane Hartsell. A memorial service was held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1 :00 PM at the Overlook Masonic Home Chapel, 88 Masonic Home Road, Charlton. Burial will take place at a later date in Niagara Falls. Carter W. Hudson, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Northgate Health Care Facility, while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on January 27, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Norman W. and Viola M. (Carter) Hudson.
 
Carter was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools.  He was employed as a Laborer for the Laborers Local #91 and was an avid fisherman.
 
Carter is survived by his son, Christopher Hudson.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Richard and one sister.
 
Family and friends are invited to come celebrate Carter’s life on Tuesday, October 2nd between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. at Roses Sons Bar and Restaurant, 2939 Hyde Park Blvd. Niagara Falls, NY.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME.

Patricia J. (Hartsell-Fox-Myers) Heichel entered into rest on January 28, 2015. A memorial service and funeral will be held on 21, February. 2015 at 1:00p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tenth Street & Michigan Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY to honor Patricia Heichel.

Pat passed away in Gretna, NE after a lengthy illness. The family would like to invite friends to join them at the memorial service.

Pat, most recently of Bellevue, NE, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, was

preceded in death by her parents Edward & Jane (Hudson) Hartsell and her sister Carolyn (Hartsell) Corp. She was the wife of the late Glenn Fox, the late Donald Myers, and the late Thomas Heichel. She is survived by her three children; Sandra Terry, Jeffrey and Elizabeth Fox and Jennifer Myers; her two sisters, Donna (Ronald) Lascelle, and Claudia Beane. She is also survived by her Step-Mother, Mary Ann Hartsell, and four step-siblings, Daniel, Margaret, Barbara and Michael; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pat worked for the City of Niagara Falls for many years, retiring in 2010. She was a 1959 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
