    Milton E. Wittkopp, 60, of
    338 78lh St., died Sunday
    (March 11, 1962).
    Mrs. Wittkopp said she became
    concerned Sunday after
    noon after her husband did
    not return home after closing
    his grocery store at 3 p.m.
    She said she went to the
    store and found him hanging
    by a rope from the ceiling.
    Niagara County C o r o n er
    Eugene Ingram said he will
    continue his investigation before
    issuing a death certificate.
    Born in Niagara Falls, Mr.
    Wittkopp had operated the
    Wittkopp Food Store in 19th
    Street.
    Besides his widow, he Is
    survived by a brother, Edward
    Wittkopp, of this city.
    Funeral services will be
    held at 2 p.m. 'Wednesday at
    the Coblor Funeral Home
    with the Rev. Alvin H. Butz
    Jr.. officiating. Burial will
    in Oakwood Cemetery.

    (March 11, 1962) at his home.
    A native of this city, he
    operated the Wittkopp Food
    Store, 1223 19th St.
    Survivors are his widow,
    Edith M. Wittkopp, and a
    brother, Edward Wittkopp,
    this city.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    by Rev. Alvin H. Butz
    Jr. at Cobler's Funeral Home
    Wednesday at 2 p.m.
    Burial will be in Oakwood
    Cemetery.

    North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 11/14/1927

    Edward and Anna Witcop of Niagara
    Falls were before Judge
    Harrington in North Tonawanda
    city court again this morning on
    a charge of public intoxication. It
    was their third appearance on
    this charge in six weeks.
    Judge Harrington decided a
    stretch in the county jail at Lock-
    port might do some good, so he
    gave them 60 days each. On a
    similar appearance about three
    weeks ago, they escaped with a
    five-day sentence, each.
    The Witcops were arrested Sat-
    arday afternoon on Oliver street.
