William A. Schultz, 87 years old. of
No 67 A street, Echota, for many
years an employee of the Carborun-
dum company, was fatally injured at
5:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon when
struck by a Falls-La Salle trolley car
in Buffalo avenue near Gill erect. He
died at 8 o'clock last night in Memorlal
hospital from brain concussion
and shock.
Mr. .Schultz was returning home
from work and started to cross Buffalo
avenue to get onto the Packard .
road and thence go to his home in A
street. He did not see the trolley car
approaching and was struck and
hurled to the pavement. Two men In
an automobile that was passing took
him to the hospital. Coroner Harry
R. Emes is investigating the accident.
Surviving Mr Schultz are his wife,
Caroline; four sons. Albert of La
Salle, William, of this city and John
and Fred, of this city: and five daughters.
Mrs. G. Kelly. Mrs. Walter Meyer,
and Mrs Theodore McVittie. all
of this city, and Miss Alma Schultz,
at home, and Mrs. Fred Brooks, of
La Salle
The funeral services will be held at

The body of Private Norman A.
Schultz, 32, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al-
bert schultz, of 169 Eighty-first
street, this city, who was found dead
at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, last
Tuesday, will be sent to this city for
funeral services and burial, the Rev.
George Hoyer pastor of the Zlon
Lutheran church, Cayuga drive, said
today. The time of the arrival has
not been determined by members of
the young selectee's family.
The Rev. Mr. Hoyer said that the
parents of Private Schultz received
a telegram from officials of the
Arkansas camp Friday night, informing
them of his death. They
had received no previous information
regarding his death, Mr. Hoyer
said, before they read the announcement
in the Owl edition of the Gazette
on Friday afternoon.
Private Schultz had been employed
as janitor of the Cayuga
drive church. He left this city with
one of the last groups of selectees
sent by the La Salle area draft
board and was stationed at Fort
Niagara two days before being sent
to Camp Robinson. He had been
missing since May 3, according to
statements of camp officials.
According to an Associated Press
dispatch Friday, Private Schultz's
body was found in a sewer manhole
at the Arkansas camp. Besides
his parents he Is survived.by a brother,
Herbert, and five sisters, Mrs.
George Swift, Mrs. William Thompson,
Mrs. Truswell and Mrs. Flateau,
all of this city, and Mrs. Bennett, of
Cleveland, O.

LEWISTON - Ruth G. Schultz, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. We are all truly grateful for the years she spent with us and her love for everyone in her family. Ruth was born on February 2, 1912, in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Schultz) Meyer. Through her 49 years of work and volunteering at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, she touched many other lives along the way. In 1934 she married Edgar Schultz, who predeceased her in December of 1993. Ruth is survived by two sons, Peter M. (Jane) Schultz of Owego, NY and Jonathan M. (Suzanne) Schultz of Lewiston, NY; four grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Elizabeth (Joshua) Hilton, Jonathan (Jennifer) and Elisabeth (John) Ingoldsby; eight great-grandchildren, Peter, Andrew, Jacob, Elle, Alexa, Catherine, Kevin and Maxwell; one sister, Dorothy Ulrich of Grand Island and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4-7 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, at 9:00 AM, at Zion Lutheran Church, Michigan Avenue and 10th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Thomas R. Mason officiating. The family is also grateful to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Our Lady of Peace and the Upper Mountain Fire Company who provided exceptional care during the last weeks of her life. LEWISTON - Dorothy M. Ulrich, formerly of Grand Island, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY.

She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Schultz) Meyer.

Mrs. Ulrich was the wife of the late Clarence T. Ulrich, who died on June 21, 1986; and the sister of the late Ruth G. Schultz.

She attended the Kelley Business School. Mrs. Ulrich was an executive secretary at Occidental Petroleum in Niagara Falls, NY, for 38 years before retiring in July of 1978. She was an active member at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo, NY.

Mrs. Ulrich is survived by her nephews, Peter M. (Jane) Schultz of Owego, NY and Jonathan M. (Suzanne) Schultz of Lewiston, NY; also many grand-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran, 1080 Main St., Buffalo, NY, with the Rev. Lee Miller officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Residence, 5285 Lewiston Rd., Lewiston, NY 14092. Interment was in the Erie Cemetery, Erie, PA. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Lewiston, NY.

UMHOLTZ, age 98 of Niagara Falls, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her residence, while under the care of her loving granddaughter and Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 8, 1921; daughter of the late Frederick and Emelie (Schultz) Wruck. Caroline was a former member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, and currently a member of St. James Lutheran Church, in Bergholz. She had been employed at Kimberly Clark, Jenss, Garland Amusements, and was a cook and lunch aid at LaSalle Senior High School, and 66th. Street School, where she was known to many as "grandma". Caroline enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, John (Beth Delahoy) Wruck of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Jeff Wruck and Andrew Wruck of Tennessee, John and Kristy Wruck of Williamsville, NY, Amy and Steven Gizzarelli, Katie and Andrew Dysard, Stephanie and Gary Camidge, and Stephen Wruck , all of Niagara Falls; and several great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will take place with the family, at Niagara Falls Memorial Park. There will be no prior visitation, and memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice. 
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Caroline's life, in St. James Fellowship Hall. The date and time will be announced once it is finalized.

Obituary of Betty Jane Schmoyer Betty Jane Schmoyer, age 89 of Youngstown and Ft. Meyers FL, died Monday November 2, 2015 at her summer residence in Youngstown after a brief illness.Betty was born April 24, 1926 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late George and Irene (Schultz) Swift. She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and on August 16, 1946 she married Paul J. Schmoyer. Paul was the founder and owner of Schmoyer Co. Inc. which developed and managed Willow Beach Campgrounds in Youngstown. Paul predeceased Betty in 2014, but she was very active in the operation of Willow Beach. Betty was a member of the Lutheran Church of The Messiah in Lewiston and a member of the Service Guild beginning in 1961. She also enjoyed her annual involvement in the Lewiston Peach Festival.She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Diane) Schmoyer, Kyle (Harold) Sachs, and Stephen (Denise) Schmoyer; her grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Christine, Colin, Christopher, Benjamin, and Sarah; three great grandchildren; and four sisters, Phyllis (late Ed)Schroeder, Patricia (late Roy) Shafer, Georgia (Jim) Faassen, and Jill (late Jack) Mears. Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, watched SciFi, enjoyed crossword puzzles, but most of all the time spent with his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Beth (Delahoy) Wruck, that he married in 1978; five children, John (Kristy) Wruck, Amy (Steven) Gizzarelli, Katie (Andrew) Dysard, Stephanie (Gary) Camidge, and Stephen Wruck; grandchildren, Shawn, Victoria, Kiera, Aurora, Cassidy/Michael, Kiera, Megan, Faith, Stephen, Ella, Owen, Caroline, Gary, Jackson, Lucas, Vincenzo, Andrew, Fiona, Tyler, and Julia.
