of 2439 South Ave., died Sunday
nigHt (May 23, 1971) in
Mount St. Mary's Hospital
after a long illness.
Born in Taunton Somerset,
England, Mrs. Oaten came
to Niagara Falls in 1910. She
worked for 22 years as a
dietician for the Board of
Education.
Mrs. Oaten is survived by
her son-in-law, W i 11 i a m
Neumann of Niagara Falls;
two/ grandchildren, Mrs.
David (Elaine) Matthew in
Connecticut and Mrs. James
(Joan) Gilpin in New-jersey
and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held Wednesday at .11 a.m.
at the Cornell and Daggett
Funeral Chapel, with the Rev.
Theodore L. Menler of St..
Paul Calvary L u t h e r an
Church officiating. Burial will
be in Oakwood Cemetery.
