    Services for Mrs. Augustina Schuler Baehr, 84, widow of Charles Baehr who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Voelker, Middleport, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Trinity Lutheran Church, Medina with the Rev. Herman Meier officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby. Mrs. Baehr, who was born in Johnsburg and has been a resident of Middleport for the past six years, was a member of the Lutheran Church.

    Road, who died Saturday (Feb.

    Memorial Hospital where he
    had been a patient for one day.
    Services were held at the
    Medina Trinity L u t h e r an
    Church, of which he was a
    member. The Rev. -Wilbur R.
    Lottes officiated and burial was
    in Mount Pleasant Cemetery,
    West Shelby.

    The son Of Karl and
    Augustena (Schuler) Baehr, he

    an inspector for Harrison Radiator
    Division, General Motors
    Corp., prior to his retirement
    13 yeans ago.
    Surviving are his widow, the
    former Christine Wolter; three
    sons, Donald of Newfane,
    Kennneth of Holley and Karl of
    Middleport; two daughters,

    Lockport and Mrs. Edward

    Marcia M. (Leverentz) Newman, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Schoellkopf Health Center. Born on May 8, 1928 in North Tonawanda, NY, Marcia was the daughter of the late Clarence and Matie (Baehr) Leverentz.  On May 11, 1996, she married Nels E. Newman.
    Mrs. Newman graduated from North Tonawanda High School and later from Kelley Business Institute.  Marcia was employed as an engineering secretary for E. I. DuPont.  She was a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda and currently a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in the Town of Niagara.  For many years, Mrs. Newman served as a volunteer at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and in her younger years Marcia played bocce ball on the DuPont league.
    In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Newman is survived by step-children, Sally Mastrangelo, Nels A. Newman, Mary Lynn (Robert) Marcolini and Patricia (David) LeGault; a brother, Fred Dale (June) Secrist; nieces and nephews, James (Eileen) Leverentz, Jane Harris-Hattaway, Paul (Gloria) Leverentz, Thomas (Connie) Harris, William Leverentz, Alice (Dave) Ortiz and Brett Secrist; nine great-nieces and nephews and many great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marcia was predeceased by two siblings, Robert (Lillian) Leverentz and Donna (late James) Harris.
    The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service honoring Marcia on Tuesday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Wheatfield, NY.

    Roger J. Lehman, of Colfax, NC, formerly of North Tonawanda, NY. Born January 4, 1929, died December 20, 2023; husband of Patricia (Mollison) Lehman. He was pre-deceased by his wife Pearl (Michael) Lehman, his parents Frank and Mildred (Baehr) Lehman, and brother and sister-in-law, Jerald and Barbara (Bach) Lehman.
    Roger is survived by his sister Shirley (late David) Vill, brother-in-law John (late Patsy) Michael and sister-in-law Barbara (late Colter) Osborne; his children: Valerie Lehman, Deborah Raught, and Frank (Margie) Lehman, Michael (Hope) McLaughlin and Vicky (Brad) Smith; his grandchildren: Wesley (Amber) Anastasi, Lisa (Rick) Benson, Dominic Anastasi, Julie (Will) Henwood, Rachel (Jared) Brimberry, Katharine (Gavin Atkins) Raught, Heather Lehman, Amber (Nick) Widmer, Alex McLaughlin, Zoe McLaughlin, Avery Smith, Ian Smith, Blake Meyer and Presley Meyer; and great-grandchildren: Dylan, Isabella, Grayson, Ava, Emily, Jackson, Annie, Emma, Olivia, and Mira; also several nieces and nephews.
    Roger served as a navigator in the US Air Force, retiring from the Air Force Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He earned a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from SUNY at Buffalo. Roger taught Electrical Technology and served as Chair of the Technology and Mathematics Departments at Niagara County Community College. Roger was seen as a resourceful leader and a stalwart advocate of the college by both colleagues and the administration. He was awarded Professor Emeritus status upon his retirement after 30 years of service. His influence extended to all aspects of his life and was embraced and valued. Roger's passions included golf, travel, and bridge. He was an avid bridge player and attained Grand Master status. He designed and built the family homes. Roger had a wry sense of humor, and enjoyed sharing his reactionary opinions, hoping to generate debate. His happy place was Long Point, Ontario, at the cottage that he and his uncles helped his father build in 1945. His family was his true north, and he will be greatly missed.
    A celebration of Roger's life will take place on Saturday, January 6, at Classics V (2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, NY) from 3-5pm. All are invited to come, share a story, and remember this remarkable man.

    Jerald F. Lehman, age 80, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was born June 19, 1939 in Niagara Falls, to Frank and Mildred Lehman. He was a 1957 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. He was very active in organizing events not only for the Class of ‘57 but also various other classes. His stamp on his high school and the friends he made throughout the years will leave an everlasting impression on all of us. He married Barbara Bach on August 5, 1961. Jerry served honorably in the United States Army from 1960-1966. He worked for the Operating Engineers, Carborundum and the New York State Power Authority where he happily retired in 2005. Jerry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as watching football games with his sons and calling them when he wasn’t able to be there in person. He also loved boating. Spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest pleasure. He enjoyed 58 years of marriage with his wonderful wife “Barbara Jean his teenage queen.” Jerry had an amazing talent of making anyone that stepped into his front door feel like family. His constant charisma and devotion to his family and friends made him the admirable man that everyone knew him to be and love. Jerry and Barb enjoyed 15 years of spending winters in their home in Clermont Florida with their many friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Jeffrey (Marilyn), Michael (Susan), and Scott (Nicole Tomsen).     Doris M. Schuner, of Medina, passed away on January 23, 2016 at the Eastern Niagara Hospital. Mrs. Schuner was born at home in Middleport on July 6, 1923, a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Eick) Wolter.

    A graduate of Middleport High School, Class of 1941, she married Karl H. Schuner in 1942. She resided on Townline Road, Town of Yates from 1946-2003, when she moved to Lakewood Village. She was employed by Gould's Greenhouse, Harrison Radiator and retired from Fisher-Price Toys.

    A longtime, active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she was a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League, the Trinity Church Guild and quilting club. She made many quilts and lap robes for the missions. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Many baby clothes and blankets were enjoyed by her grandchildren. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans, traveled with the Fisher-Price travel club, enjoyed square dancing with the Orleans Orbits and volunteered with the Office of the Aging and Hospice of Orleans County.

    Survivors include three children, Brenda (Tom) Best of East Aurora, David (Mary Ruth) Schuner of Waxhaw, NC and Michael Schuner of Medina; ten grandchildren, Laurie, Sue, Peter, Danny, Christina, Andy, Adam, April, Alana, and Michael II; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Karl, on March 2, 1991; two sisters, Marjorie Schuner and Katherine Raduns; and her brother, Paul Wolter.

    Friends may call on Tuesday (4-7 PM) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev.
