in DeGraff Memorial Hospital aft-
er a brief illness. Born in North
Tonawanda, she had been a resi-
dent of the Tonawandas all her
life. Mrs. Pasel was a member
of St. Martin's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four daughters,
Mrs. Robert (Dollky) Mellenthien,
Mrs. Arthur (Avis) Ziehm, Mrs
Rudolph (Ruth) Moritz and Mrs.
Glenwood (Pauline) Witkopf, all
of the Tonawandas, 12 grand-
children and 8 great-grandchil-
dren. She was the mother of the
late Fred W. Pasel. Friends may

BUFFALO — Bonnie Sue Matthews, age 60, of Tonawanda, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Hospice Buffalo, after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline (nee Pasel) Witkopf and mother of the late Jeremy A. Matthews. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, Bonnie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was the manager of the Facilities Services Department at Kenmore Mercy Hospital before becoming ill. She loved reading, participating in sports and golf, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Matthews; two sons, Joseph (Stephanie) Matthews III and Jason A. Matthews; a sister, Susan (Lisa Benevento) Mutton; and three granddaughters, Rochelle, Adreena and Delaney. Also surviving are her special niece, Holly B. Mutton, D.O.; her sister-in-law and close friend, Betty Lou (Mike) Mazuca Adams; her brothers-in-law, David Mutton and Frank (Aimee) Mazuca; her sister-in-law, Linda (Terry) Potter; several nieces and nephews; and the Shingledecker Family.

Friends may call from 3-8 PM on Thursday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, William and Scott Streets, Tonawanda. Friends invited. (nee Ziehm) Frasier, age 73 of the City of Tonawanda, passed away at home on Sunday, September 1, 2013 surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was a 1958 graduate of Tonawanda High School and a 42-year employee of Sheridan Manor Nursing Home. Beverly was the grandmother of the late Richard G. Frasier; daughter of the late Arthur and Avis (nee Pazel) Ziehm; and sister of the late Shirley (the late Roger) Mix and Patricia McGinnis. She was the loving wife and best friend of Richard Frasier, Sr. for 55 years; beloved mother of Richard (Cindy) Frasier, Jr. of Tonawanda, Cindy (Keith) Merkling of Buffalo, Jeffrey Frasier, Sr. of North Tonawanda and Tammy (Paul) Kaczmarek of Tonawanda; and her brother, Robert Ziehm of Niagara Falls. NIAGARA FALLS — Patricia L. (Ziehm) McGinniss, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was 69. She was born in North Tonawanda on October 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Avis (Pasel) Ziehm.

She attended Tonawanda schools and moved to Niagara Falls in 1995. Mrs. McGinniss worked as a laundry aide for many years at Sheridan Manor Nursing Home in Tonawanda.

She is survived by her four children, Lori (Joe) Mundier, Gene (Christine) McGinniss, Kelly Tomicki and Don McGinniss. She is also survived by her siblings, Beverly (Richard) Frasier and Robert Ziehm; brother-in-law, Roger (late Shirley) Mix and eight grandchildren.

Robert F. Mellenthien, of Phillip Street, North Tonawanda, a truck driver, died Thursday (Jan. 9, 1997) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. He was 63.

He drove a truck for H.J. Mye Lumber Co. in North Tonawanda

Mellenthien was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda and Teamsters Local 449.

He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, the former Caroline A. Bajorek; five daughters, Deborah Beranger of Grand Island, Sue Gentzke of Peachtree, Ga., Kathy LeBar of North Tonawanda, and Sandy Davis and Sally Grzeskowiak, both of the City of Tonawanda; his mother, Leona Mellenthien of North Tonawanda; a sister, Evelyn Smith of Cheektowaga; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Burial will be in Acacia Park-Resthaven Cemetery, Pendleton.
