    KOENIG -Ella M Koenig, 73, of the Town of Wheatfield, Saturday (December 9, 1978) at Roswell Park Memorial Institute after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Koenig was a member of the Senior Citizens of the Town of Wheatfield, and St. Mark Lutheran Church.
    She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Malchow of Tonawanda; a sister, Leona Westphal of North Tonawanda; a brother, Edward Maerten of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. In St. Mark Lutheran Church, the Rev. Thomas K. Spahn will officiate. Interment St. Mark Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
