RANSOMVILLE, Aug. 28.—Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Witt, who died In Niagara Falls last Friday, were held here from the home of her son. Richard Witt, yesterday, the Rev.Marcel Desgaller, pastor of the Church of God, Niagara Falls officiating. The services were attended by a large number of friends from both Niagara Falls and this village,where she formerly resided. Interment was in the family plot in North Ridge cemetery.

Dies in Buffalo at 62 Former Falls Resident Adolph J. Witt. 62. a former resident of this city, died yesterday at Deaconess hospital. Buffalo, of an illness of two weeks.Employed at the Shredded Wheat plant of National Biscuit company here for 23 years. Mr. Witt retired eight years ago at which time he moved to Buffalo.A veteran of World War 1. he was a member of Kensington Post 70S.American Legion. While residing here he was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church.Surviving are his wife. Mrs.Pauline Meyer Witt; a brother,Richard. Ransomville: two sisters,Mrs. Fred Zilm. this city, and Mrs.J. Edward Hepburn. Punxsutawney.Pa.; two stepbrothers. Albert, Lockport, and August, South Miami Fla.. and a stepsister, Mrs. Alfred Broeker. Youngstown.Funeral services will be held at1:50 p. m. on Saturday at the Ernest Wedekindt Funeral home. 5 Walden avenue. Buffalo. July 23, 1924 - February 29, 2024

age 99, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Albright. Loving mother of Gerald Albright and the late Deborah S. (Ralph) Thurnherr. Grandmother of Bryan (Kathy) Thurnherr, Jill (Andrew) Church, and four great-grandchildren; Nicole Thurnherr, Daniel Thurnherr, Connor Church and Evan Church. Sister of the late Stewart Zilm and the late Audrey Boyce. Jessie and Donald were married for 58 years. They moved from Niagara Falls, New York to Cape Coral, Florida in 1979 where they enjoyed retirement for over 35 years together. The happy couple enjoyed traveling, including trips to Hawaii and Alaska. She also traveled to Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In 2010, Jessie moved back to Niagara Falls, NY where she has lived independently at the Elderwood Residence at Wheatfield. Jessie was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church where she spent many years as a volunteer. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family, swimming and playing cards, especially bridge, with friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 10th at 1:00pm at Riverside Presbyterian Church, located at 815 84th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverside Presbyterian Church or Niagara Hospice.

Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017, in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Frederick and Emma [Witt] Zilm.
Mrs. Boyce graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was the head cashier at the Lerner Shop for many years before becoming a bank clerk at the Power City Branch of Marine Midland. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and traveling.
Mrs. Boyce was the wife of 61 years to the late Ernest Boyce, who passed away on October 16, 2016.
She is survived by two sons Russell E. (Molly) Boyce and Craig D. (Susan) Boyce, a daughter Cynthia E. Boyce (Tobias Fronmuller), four grandchildren Alexander, Andrew, Ashley and Abigail, a great grand daughter Eloise May, one sister Jessie Albright and by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boyce was the sister of the late Stewart Zilm.
Her family will be present on Saturday from 10-11:45 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held immediately following.
Memorials may be made in her name to Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Ste 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380.
