    Funeral Services for Henry L. Moje were held Friday, May 29, 1959 at 2:00 P.M. from his late residence, Campbell Blvd. The Rev. Carl Vogelman officiated.     Albert C. Moje, 68, of Townline Rd., Town of Wheatfield, died this morning in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a two-week illness. He was an employee of National Grinding Wheel Co. A life-long resident of the Town of Wheatfield, he is survived by his wife, Elsie, nee Schultz; two sons, Elmer and Donald; four sisters, Mrs. Helena Jagow, Mrs. Peter Flach, Mrs. Charles Newman, all of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Bertha Miller of Shawnee; two brothers, Henry of Pendleton and Edward of Shawnee and two grandchildren. He was a former assessor of the Town of Wheatfield and a member of St. Paul's E. & R. Church of Shawnee. Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. E. Sideris will officiate and burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    104, a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully on  Friday, August 25, 2017, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. He was born on August 20, 1913 the son of the late Albert and Elsie [Schultz] Moje.
    Elmer graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1931. He was a Master Sergeant with the US Army in the European Theater, during World War II. Elmer was a general foreman with National Grinding Wheel in North Tonawanda for over 38 years, before retiring in 1976. He became a fixture at the North Tonawanda Farmers Market with his granddaughter Carly, where he was affectionately known as the "Honey Man" and later as the "Garlic Man".
    Elmer was a dedicated member of  the Shawnee Fire Company for the past 65 years, serving as financial secretary and on many of company's committees and boards over the years. He was a member of the Niagara County Fireman's Association, the Western New York Fireman's Volunteer Association, the New York State Fireman's Association and the Tonawanda  American Legion  Post 264. He also served on the Town of Wheatfield planning board. Elmer was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a member of the Bobcats.    
    He was the husband of the late Ester L. [Paschka] Moje, who passed away in January of 1994.
    Elmer is survived by a daughter Beverly (John) Freiert, a son Robert (Sandy) Moje, seven grandchildren Carly (Mackenzie) Fabiny, Richard (fiancé' Brittnee) Freiert, Eric Moje, Nicole Thomas, Jinnette Horan-Moje, Tim Walsh, Stanley Wesolowski, a niece Jeanne (Paul) Greasley and his dear friend Marilyn Moritz, also several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David Moje and brother of the late Donald Moje.
    His family will be present on Wednesday and Thursday from 1-3 & 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. The Shawnee Fire Company will hold services on Thursday at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ-Shawnee, 3921 Mapleton Road, North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.
    Flowers are gratefully declined.  Memorials may be made in his name to St. Paul's UCC Shawnee, the Shawnee Fire Co. or to Niagara Hospice.
    Interment with military honors in Wheatfield Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY.

    Obituary of Rosemary Miller

    Rosemary M. Miller passed away November 24, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born December 8, 1931 in Lockport she was the daughter of Wallace and Mary Anna (Monkelbaan) Moje.  Rosemary was a beloved member of the Newfane Historical Society and the Niagara County Federation of Historical Societies since 1981 and was predeceased by her husband John A. Miller, Sr. in 2011.
    Rosemary is survived by her children Mary Ann Miller, David Miller, Joseph (Nancy) Miller, Charles Miller, Annette Louise, Michael Miller, Theresa Evans, Clarence (Hope) Miller, Wally (Katie) Miller, Helen (Brain) Cox, Rosemary (Bruce) Garber, and the late John A. Miller, Jr., and Janet Federspiel; siblings Barbara (Jerome) Hobart, Ann (Norman) Maerten, and the late Alice Alexander, Henrietta Boulton, and Robert Moje; also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
    Rosemary was very proud of and leaves behind a legacy of thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
    Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 29th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 30th at 10 AM in St. Brendan’s On The Lake, 3455 Ewings Rd., Newfane.  Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

    Alice was a 50 year member of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she held many offices over the years, and a member of Liberty Pennsylvania Ladies Auxiliary. She was previously employed at a phone company, Swenson's Home Improvements, and Brauer's Restaurant. 
    Predeceased by her husband, James N. Alexander on March 23, 2012; a son, Kenneth; and a brother, Robert Moje. Survivors include six children, William (Sandra) Singleton, Karen (Michael) Schleicher, Richard (Cheryl) Singleton, Peggy Warne, Diane Salverson, and Mary (Thomas) Schneider; and four sisters, Rosemary Miller, Ann Maerten, Barbara Hobart, and Rickie Moje.
    Friends are invited to join with the family, at the Shawnee Fire Company, Lockport Road, Wheatfield, on Tuesday, November 21 at 5:00 p.m., with a celebration of Alice's life at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Ladies Auxiliary, or Niagara Hospice.     Henrietta "Ricky" Moje, 67, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pennsylvania. Born on February 8, 1951 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Mary Ann (Monkelbaan) Moje of Pendleton, NY.
    In 1969, Rickie graduated from Starpoint Central School. Before moving to Pennsylvania, Rickie and Bruce Voelkle owned and operated Francis For Eyeglasses in the Bewley Building in Lockport.
    She worked for the PA Department of Corrections for four years and the Altoona Unemployment Compensation Center for three years. She was a past Girl Scout leader, a Cub Scout secretary, she volunteered for the American Red Cross in Lockport, and she was a past president for the International Roadrunners for 14 years.
    She is survived by her life partner, David Boulton, of Ramey, PA; two children, Allen (Anne) Heinrich of Brockway, PA, and Amy (Ivar) Herl de Gier of the Netherlands; three step-daughters, Margo (Chris) Rogers of Coalport, PA, Corey (Adam) Clark of Ginter, PA, and Brittany (Matt) Haney of Smokrun, PA; and three sisters, Rosemary Miller of Newfane, NY, Ann Maerten of Sanborn, NY, and Barbara Hobart of Ransomville, NY.
    Ricky is also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha Heinrich Schnarrs, Stephanie Heinrich, Chavi de Gier, and Christian de Geir; five step-grandchildren, Carter Boulton, Ethan Boulton, Logan Clark, Cole Haney and Emmett Clark; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Rose Schnarrs, and her first husband, Irving Heinrich.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Bruce Voelkle; a brother, Robert Moje; and a sister, Alice Alexander.
    Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
