    LOCKPORT, Feb. 17.-Stricken
    by a cerebral hemorrhage while at
    the home of a neighbor yesterday,
    Mrs. Adlena Haln, 51, wife of
    George P. Haln, 17 Webb street,
    died within 10 minutes. Mrs. Hain
    had been called to the home of
    Kimball A. Johnston. 17 Webb
    street, by Mrs. Johnston when the
    latter's young child was burned by
    hot water. The child was only
    slightly burned.
    Mrs.'Haln was born In Royalton
    and had lived In Clarence, N. Y.,
    before coming to this city 20 years
    ago. She was a member of Trinity
    Lutheran church. Surviving, besides
    her husband, are three sons.

    W. Hain. and a daughter, Betty Y.
    Haln ,all of this city; her father,
    William Wolter, Lockport; a brother,
    Edward Wolter, Middleport, and

    Funeral services will be held Sun-
    day afternoon in the Haln home
    and later in Trinity Lutheran
    church. Burial will be in the Clarence
    Center cemetery.

    H. Wolter, 80, of 17 Mechanics
    St., died unexpectedly Monday
    (Oct. 18,1971). He was stricken
    at his home and was
    pronounced dead on arrival at
    Medina Memorial Hospital.
    A native and lifelong resident
    of Niagara County, he was born
    Sept. 28,1891 the son of William
    and Matilda Moll Wolter.
    He worked as a machinist for
    the Niagara Chemical Corp.
    for 25 years, retiring 22 years
    ago. He was a member of Holy
    Cross Lutheran Church.
    He is survived by his wife,;
    Alma Wolter; a son, Paul
    Wolter of Medina; three^
    daughters, Mrs. Carl-Randuns:
    of Basom and Mrs. Albert
    Schuner and Mrs. Karl
    Schuner, both of Lyndonville; a'
    stepdaughter, Mrs. Ronald
    Buls of Valparaiso, Ind.; a
    sister, Mrs. Edward Baehr of.
    Medina; 14 grandchildren, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 2 p.m.;
    to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at
    the Wallace and Heath Funeral
    Home Inc., 38 State St., where
    services will be held Thursday
    at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross
    Lutheran Church.
    The Rev. Gerald Grimm will
    officiate.
    Burial will be in Mount
    Pleasant Cemetery, West
    Shelby.
    Memorials may be made to
    the Holy Cross Lutheran

    Doris M. Schuner, of Medina, passed away on January 23, 2016 at the Eastern Niagara Hospital. Mrs. Schuner was born at home in Middleport on July 6, 1923, a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Eick) Wolter.

    A graduate of Middleport High School, Class of 1941, she married Karl H. Schuner in 1942. She resided on Townline Road, Town of Yates from 1946-2003, when she moved to Lakewood Village. She was employed by Gould's Greenhouse, Harrison Radiator and retired from Fisher-Price Toys.

    A longtime, active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she was a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League, the Trinity Church Guild and quilting club. She made many quilts and lap robes for the missions. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Many baby clothes and blankets were enjoyed by her grandchildren. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans, traveled with the Fisher-Price travel club, enjoyed square dancing with the Orleans Orbits and volunteered with the Office of the Aging and Hospice of Orleans County.

    Survivors include three children, Brenda (Tom) Best of East Aurora, David (Mary Ruth) Schuner of Waxhaw, NC and Michael Schuner of Medina; ten grandchildren, Laurie, Sue, Peter, Danny, Christina, Andy, Adam, April, Alana, and Michael II; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Karl, on March 2, 1991; two sisters, Marjorie Schuner and Katherine Raduns; and her brother, Paul Wolter.

    Friends may call on Tuesday (4-7 PM) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev. James Zang will officiate at her funeral service on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Lynhaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Hospice of Orleans County or Senior Citizens of Western Orleans.

    LOCKPORT, N. Y. (UPD- A
    Medina man, described by police
    as "a midget," walked into
    a police station Thursday night
    and told police he had strangled
    the woman he had been married
    to less than a year.
    Terrence B. Kenney II, 34,
    was charged with murder, police
    said. The body of his wife,
    Joyce, also 34, was found in the
    couple's car in a parking lot.
    The couple, who police said
    were "only three to four feet
    high," had been married last
    Fe. 24 in Medina, in Orleans
    County.
    Police said Kenney was held
    in Niagara County Jail pending
    arraignment.
    An autopsy was ordered.
    The police station is only a
    block from the Walnut Street
    parking lot where the body was
    found, authorities said.
    Kenney had previously been
    employed as an election super-
    visor in the county clerk's office
    in Trenton, N.J.
    His wife was the former Joyce
    Baehr of Medina.

    REBEKAH ELLEN BAEHR HILLMAN LEDER went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2019 surrounded be her loving family.  Becky was born September 28, 1944 to Donald Wolter Baehr and Lucy Pauline Klatt Baehr.  She is survived by her brother Philip (Judy) Baehr of Appleton, New York and her sister, Ruth (Chase) Ferree-Bowman of Burt, New York.  Also surviving are her children, Andrew Hillman of East Aurora, New York and Sarah McKee of Newfane, New York and her five grandchildren, Spencer Moore, Chauncey McKee, Caleb Hillman, Darren Hillman and Ada Hillman.   Also two dear aunts, numerous cousins, many nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her former husband, Patrick Hillman of Newfane.  Predeceased by her husband Ernest Leder and by loving partner, Richard Hudson.  She was blessed with many cherished friends.  She attended Lyndonville Central School through the 7th grade, graduate of Wilson Central School, Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest, Illinois and received her Master's Degree from University of Buffalo.  She enjoyed teaching for 35 years having taught in Westfield, New Jersey, Anchorage, Alaska, St. Peter Lutheran School at North Ridge, Lockport, New York, Immanuel Nursery School, Lockport, New York and Barker Central School, Baker, New York.  Becky was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newfane, New York for 48 years.  She was Chairman of the Board of Education, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Children's Choir Director, Church Organist for over 50 years, Bible Class Leader, Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed sharing Stephen Ministry materials.  She cherished her family, dear church family and being with friends and loved to laugh.  She was a member of ENCARTA, the Eastern Niagara County Association of Retired Teachers and several book clubs.  Becky always loved her Lord, treasured life, children, music, reading and travel, seeing God's beautiful world and nature.  There will be no prior visitation, but all are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Praise to God at 11:00 on Saturday, June 1st at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2730 Transit Road, Newfane, New York 14108.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Memorial to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church for Haiti Orphanage would be appreciated.     Jimmy Bieliski, of Medina, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, 2015. Jimmy was born in Medina, July 5, 1946, the son of Audrey (Baehr) Bieliski and the late Edward Vincent Bieliski. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1964, he married the former Donna D. Board on September 10, 1966. He was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, as a service man, for 32 years, retiring on his birthday in 2001.

    Jimmy was an avid drag racer. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association Top Eliminator Club and for many years he raced at Lancaster Speedway, Cayuga Dragway and Niagara Dragway. He often traveled to Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio and Laconia with his sons. He was a life member of H.O.G. and loved riding his Harley. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and maintaining the Bieliski Compound on North Gravel Road. Jimmy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

    Jimmy is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, William (Jennifer) Bieliski and James Scott (Amanda) Bieliski; his "son", Jonathan (Jennifer) Higgins; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Bieliski, Mackenzi Nudd, Elsa, Jimmy and Annabel Bieliski; a great grandson, Landon Rath; his mother, Audrey Bieliski; two sisters, Nancy (Duane) Pender and Margo (Frank) Sarchia; sister-in-law, Terry (Dennis) Phebus; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

    Friends may call on Wednesday (4-7) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center St., Medina. His service will be held on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1212 West Avenue, Medina. The Rev. Peter A. Lindemann will officiate and interment will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery.
