    of Kingston, Ont., Ethel and Stella
    Woodcock of Detroit, Mich. He was
    a member of Niagara Frontier Lodge
    No. 132 F&VAM, Niagara Lodge of Perfection
    of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Ancient
    ° Accepted Scottish Rite of Buffalo,
    N.Y., Charter Member of Niagara
    Falls Council Princess Jerusalem.

    FAAM will hold memorial services in
    the funeral home Tuesday at 7 p.m.
    Funeral services from Otto Redanz
    Funeral Home, Michigan and 10rn, at
    1 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. E. H. Gundersom
    will officiate. Interment, Memorial
    Park Cemetery. Friends may
    call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

    Sherwood A. Woodcock, 62,
    of 2219 15th St., a Niagara
    Mohawk Power Corp operator
    here for 29 years, died Sunday
    (Feb. 25, 1962) in Memorial
    Hospital after a short
    illness.
    A native of Arden, Ont., he
    had lived in Niagara Falls for
    29 years and was active in
    Masonic circles. He was a
    member of Niagara Lodge of
    Perfection No. 132, F and
    AM; the Ancient Accepted
    Scottish Rite of Buffalo and
    the Niagara Frontier Council,
    Princes of Jerusalem, F and
    AM.
    Mr. Woodcock is survived
    by his wife: Marjorie; two
    daughters, Mrs. K e n n e th
    (Ruth) Wendt, this city, and
    Mrs. George (Marjorie) Dempster,
    St. Catharines, Ont.;
    three brothers,- Charles, Gordon
    and Cecil Woodcock, all
    of Kingston, Ont. and two sisters,
    Ethel and Stella Woodcock
    of Detroit, Mich. A son
    Pvt. Willis A. Woodcock, died
    in 1944.
    Services will be held Wed-
    nesday at 1 p.m. at Otto
    Redanz Funeral Home, with
    Rev. E. h. Gunderson, pastor
    of the Christian and Mission-
    ary Alliance Church, officiat-
    ing. Burial will be in Me-
    morial Park Cemetery.
    Masonic services will be
    held by the Niagara Lodge of
    Perfrection Tuesday at 7 p.m.
    at the funeral home.

    GRAND ISLAND — Ruth Elizabeth (Woodcock) Wendt, 82, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at her residence. Born on November 15, 1929 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of Sherwood and Marjorie (Lloyd) Woodcock.

    Mrs. Wendt came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child in 1933, and attended local schools. On March 1, 1958, Ruth married Kenneth R. Wendt in Niagara Falls, NY. She was employed as a Bindery Operator for Moore Business Forms. Later, with her husband, Mrs. Wendt worked as a Vending Machine Operator. Ruth was a member of the VFW Post #9249 in Grand Island, NY. She enjoyed boating.

    In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Wendt is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by one brother, Willis Woodcock and one sister, Marjorie (late George) Dempster.

    There will be no prior visitation. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, 1570 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Arrangements are under the direction of the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007).     Private William A. Woodcock, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Woodcock,
    of 2219 Fifteenth street, has been
    reported killed in action in France
    on September 11.
    Inducted into the army in March,
    1943, • Private Woodcock completed
    his basic training at Fort Bennlng,
    Ga., and at Camp McCall, N.C. He
    received his wings as a paratrooper
    and left for overseas last May, or
    Inally landing In Italy.
    He was a graduate of the Trott
    Vocational school and a former employe
    of the Wright's Plating Works.
    • Besides his parents, he is survived
    by two sisters, Marjorie and Ruth,
    both of this city.
