    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Sophie
    Lang Woodrich, 82, widow of Wil-
    liam F. Woodrich, died Saturday
    (Sept. 15, 1956) at the Bishop Nurs-
    ing Home, Medina, where she had
    been a patient for the last six
    years.
    Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Wood-
    rich resided for many years in
    North Tonawanda before moving
    to this village, where she had been
    living with her daughter-in-law,
    Mrs. Dorothy Lang, Francis St.
    Surviving are a son,, Walter Lang,
    this village; two stepsons, John and
    William Woodrich, and two step-
    daughters, Mrs. Albertine Meisner
    and Mrs. Ernest Achterbergh, all
    of North Tonawanda; five grand-
    children and 12 great grandchild-
    ren; a sister, Mrs. John Wittig,
    Buffalo; and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Friends may call from 3 to 5
    and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Wal-
    lace and Heath Funeral Home
    where services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be
    in West Ridgeway Cemetery.

    Sophie married WOODRICH, Wilhelm Friedrich August on 18 Apr 1914 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. Wilhelm (son of WOODRICH, Fred) was born on 18 Sep 1869 in Malchow, Brandenburg, Germany; died on 4 Jan 1947 in Middleport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Friday morning after a long illness.
    He is survived by his wife.
    Mabel, his mother, Mrs. William
    Woodrich and three brothers, Walter
    Lang and Howard Lang of
    Middleport and Edward Lang of
    Buffalo.
    The funeral will be held Monday
    at 2:30 o'clock, DST time from
    the home of Mr. and Mrs. William
    Woodrich, Ridge Road, Town of
    Ridgeway.

    John W. Woodrich, Tonawanda and
    William Woodrich, N o r t h Tonawanda

    Misner and Mrs. Ernest Achterbergh,
    both of North Tonawanda.
    Friends may call today and tomorrow
    from 2 to 5 and from 7
    to 10 p.m. at the W a l l a c e and
    Heath Funeral Home where services
    will be held Monday at 2 p.m.
    The Rev. R. E, Malte, Medina, will
    officiate. Interment will be In West
    Ridgeway Cemetery.
    Mr. Lang was born at Buffalo
    but had lived here for a number of
    years.
