ACHTERBERG - Ernest J,
Achterberg, 64, of 37 Ward
Road, North Tonawanda, unexpectedly
Thursday (Oct. 2, 1969)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
Mr. .Achterberg was a member
of St. Peter's United Church
of Christ, Gratwick Hose
Company, and the North Tonawanda
Firemen's Benevolent
Association. He was a lifelong
resident of North Tonawanda,
and a former employe of
Columbus McKinnon for 41
years.
Survivors include his wife,
Alice (nee Woodrich) Achterberg;
a foster son, Ronald
Kuligowski of North Tonawanda,
and a sister, Mrs.
Edward (Lillian) Janowsky of
North Tonawanda.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fretthold
Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver
St., at Ward Road, North Tonawanda,
where services will be
conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m.
The Rev. Milton L. Straube will
officiate. Interment in White
Chapel Memorial Park.
