Pfanner, 69, a World War I a local farmer.
veteran, of 129 William St.,
Hied Tuesday (July 9, 1963) at
Buffalo Veterans Hospital aft-
er a brief illness.
He was a lifelong resident
of this city. He conducted his
own meat market in Schenck
Street, North Tonawanda, for
many years. For the past five
years he was employed by
Canton Markets.
He was a member of Salem
United Church of Christ and
the brotherhood of the church,
and was a life member of the
American Legion Tonawandas
Post No. 264.
He is survived by his wife,
Ida Acksel Pfanner; a daughter,
Mrs. R o c c o Scarfone,
North Tonawanda; two sisters,
Miss Viola Pfanner and Mrs.
Albert Everett,, both of this
city; and two grandchildren.
Funeral servicer will be held
at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Roth
Funeral Home, Rev. Donald
Gardella officiating. B u r i al
will be in White Chapel Memorial
Park.
