    Funeral services will be held from
    the home of her daughter, Mrs,
    Emma Decho, at Ransomvllle, Saturday
    afternoon, April 10th, at two
    o'clock. Interment will be in North

    Paul A. Bluhm, 85, a retired
    Town of Cambria farmer, at
    2:30 p.m. Thursday at the
    family residence, Ridge Road.
    Mr. Bluhm died Saturday
    (Jan. 19, 1963) at Inter-Community
    Memorial Hospital,
    Newfane, after a week's illnessi
    The family, said donations
    to the Niagara County
    Heart Chapter or to the building
    fund of St. Peter's Luther*
    an Church at North Ridge
    are acceptable as memorial
    tributes.
    Rev. Carl Oldach of St
    Peter's Church will officiate
    at services. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery.
    Mr. Bluhm was a memfoer
    of St. Peter's Church and a
    25-year member of the Farm
    Bureau. He was a familiar figure
    at Niagara Falls City Market
    where he operated a stall
    until retiring six years ago.
    Born in Germany, Nov. 16,
    1877, Mr. Bluhm was one of
    15 children. He came to this
    country at the age of 6 and
    was a resident of this area for
    almost 80 years.
    Surviving are his widow,
    Ida Schrader Bluhm; a daughter,
    Mrs. George Sehendel, at
    home; two sisters, Mrs. Otis
    Murray, Olcott, and Mrs.
    Ernest Miller, Lockport; two
    brothers, John Bluhm, Niagara
    Falls, and August
    Bluhm, North Tonawahda;
    two grandchildren and six
    great-grandchildren.

    Mrs, Pearl Schendel
    NEWFANE—Mrs. Pearl Bluhm Schendel, 64, of
    3682 Ridge Road, Cambria, died Friday (June 9, 1967)
    after suffering a heart attack at her home. She had
    been-a Cambria resident for the last 56 years.
    She was born Aug. 8, 1902, in
    Coomer Road, Newfane, daughter
    of Paul and Ida Schrader
    Bluhm. She was married in
    North Tonawanda on Dec. 13,
    1922, to George Schendel, who
    survives her.
    Mrs. Schendel was a member
    of St. Peter's Lutheran Church,
    North Ridge.
    In addition to her husband,
    Survivors include a daughter,
    Mrs. Norman (Norma) Seabert;
    a son, Robert Schendel, and six
    grandchildren, all oLCambria.
    The Rev. Carl Oldach will, offt
    ficiate at services at St. Peter's
    Church at 3 p.m. Monday.
    Burial will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.

Martha looked forward to watching the Lawrence Welk Show. She was the wife of the late Anthony Kuntz, to whom she was married for 57 years. Sister of the late Myra World. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and neighbors. In keeping with Martha’s wishes no funeral services will be held. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.     Co., died Tuesday (April 26,
    1966) at Mount View Hospital
    after a long illness.
    He was born Aug. 23, 1914, in
    the Town of Cambria, the ton
    of Ernest and Anna Bluhm Miller,
    and had been a lifelong
    resident of the town.
    Mr. Miller was employed at
    a catcher in the sheet mill at
    Simonds Saw & Steel Co. for 11
    years and before that had worked
    18 years at Harrison Radiator
    Division, General Motors
    Corp.
    He was a member of St. Andrew's
    Lutheran Church at Pe-
    kin.
    Surviving are his widow, Fern
    C. Miller; six daughters, Mrs.
    Joseph (Glenna) Gates, Pamela,
    Dianne, and Christine Miller,
    all of Lockport; Mrs. Thomas

Schendel, 59, of 3682 Ridge Road died yesterday (June 13,1983) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness; Born in the Town of Cambria, he owned and operated the former Paul Bluhm Farm at his address for the last 18 years. He also owned and operated Ridgeview Plumbing and Heating and ran a vegetable stand at the North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls markets for 15 years under the name Schendel Farms. A member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Ridge, he was on the church's Board of Elders for 12 years and in the church's adult choir for several years. He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen League for 20 years, the ABC Wilson Businessmen Bowling League on Townline Road for 20 years, the Niagara County Cooperative Extension in Lockport, and was involved in the construction of the St. Peter School and gymnasium. Survivors include his wife, Marion (Lindhurst); his father. George Schendel of Lockport; two sons, David of Lockport and Brian of Apalachian, (sic) N.Y.; two daughters. Mrs. Jerry (Brenda) Hurtgam of Ransomville. and Bonnie, at home; a sister, Mrs. Norman (Norma) Seabert of Lockport; and seven grandchildren. He was the son of the late Pearl (Bluhm) Schendel. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Ridge, with the Rev. David Musall officiating. Burial will be at North Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Hardison Funeral Home, Ransomville. Born in the Town of Cambria on January 24, 1935 to the late George and Pearl (Bluhm) and has been a lifelong resident.She graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 and then from the Millard Fillmore School for X-Ray Technician where Norma had a 40-year career; first at Millard Fillmore Hospital, then at Lockport Memorial Hospital and retired as Chief of X-Ray from Newfane Intercommunity Hospital where she worked for 32 years, retiring in 1992. On October 1, 1955, she was married to her beloved husband, Norman Seabert. Norma was a faithful member of St. Peters Lutheran Church at North Ridge, where she was the Sunday School Superintendent and the Choir Director for many years. After her retirement, Norma could always be found on her son's farm or at the North Tonawanda Market. She loved spending time with family, and enjoyed lending a helping hand to friends and Church. She was well-known for her crystal pickles, jams, and sweet potato pie.In addition to her loving husband, Norman, she is survived by a daughter, Debra Heinz (Sam Saltal) of Kenmore; and son, Kenneth (Debra) Seabert of the Town of Cambria; four grandchildren, Justin (Susan) Israel, Jaren (Joanne) Israel, Kyle (Jen) Seabert, Kari (Eric) Felker; three great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Isabella, and Nicholas; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
