    Claudia S. (Oakes) Maiello, 58, of Sanborn, NY, went into the loving arms of Our Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2009. Born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel L. (Stancliff) Oakes. On May 25, 1973, she married Michael A. Maiello in Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.Claudia attended local schools and was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. She worked as a licensed practical nurse in the pediatric department at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Claudia previously worked in various retail stores in the Niagara Falls area. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, but the most important aspect of her life was her family. Claudia especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Baba”. In addition to her husband of 35 years, Mrs. Maiello is survived by her daughter, Lori M. (Jeff) Haseley of Sanborn, NY; two grandchildren, Timothy and Julia; a sister, Beverly (Andrew) Ligammari of The Villages, FL; her aunt, Marge Oakes of Ransomville, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Margaret “Peggy” Warrick. Friends may call Tuesday from 4–8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI and SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4th at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache officiating. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.     Beverly Ligammari, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Hasel (Metcalf) Oaks.
    Beverly attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She married the love of her life, Andrew Ligammari at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in 1978. Together they were longtime members of the LaSalle Sportsman Club.
    Mrs. Ligammari was employed in the accounting department of DuPont Chemical Corp. for many years prior to retiring and moving to Florida with her husband in the early 1990s. She continued to stay actively working for several years at ValPak. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her beloved family.
    In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by her children, Richard (Donna) Rinker, Daniel (Carrie) Rinker, Mark (CJ) Ligammari, David (Mary Jane) Ligammari and Andrea (Michael) Osuch; ten grandchildren, Jonathan, Devin, Michael, Gary, Matthew, David, Douglas, Kenneth, Kerstin and Jordan, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 10 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM Interment will be held privately for Beverly’s family in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
