    Philip “Uncle Phil” Gazy, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Nasri and Victoria (Jacob) Gazy.

    Phil was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling to Las Vegas. He also loved taking long walks throughout the area. Phil is survived by his brother Albert “Skip” (Ramona) Gazy of Niagara Falls, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom he made happy memories with. Mr. Gazy was predeceased by three sisters, Lorraine (late Victor) Tarpinian, Annie (late Paul) Rossman and Margaret (late Don) Hall; and three brothers, William (Martha of Niagara Falls) Gazy, Michael (late Dorothy) Gazy and Emil (Doris of Niagara Falls) Gazy. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of N.F. Memorial Medical Center and Schoellkopf Health Care Facility for the care and compassion given to Phil. Funeral services and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.     Lorraine Tarpinian, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Northgate Health Care Facility in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Nasri and Victoria (Jacob) Gazy.

    Lorraine was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On January 16, 1943, she married Victor Tarpinian, who later predeceased her on March 14, 2000. Gloria donated much of her time to the community as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was also a devout Catholic, lifelong member of the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church and a current parishioner of Divine Mercy Church.

    Ms. Tarpinian is survived by her children, William (late Loretta) Tarpinian and Gloria Tarpinian; two brothers Albert “Skip” (Ramona) Gazy and Philip Gazy, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret (late Don) Hall, Annie (late Paul) Rossman and three brothers, William (Martha) Gazy, Emil (Doris) Gazy and Michael (late Dorothy) Gazy.

    Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21st from 3 - 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow on Friday at 10 A.M. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice.

    Jane loved to rock in her rocking chair, and loved her stuffed animals.  She also enjoyed eating chocolate chip cookies, french fries, and drinking milkshakes.  She enjoyed taking walks, but especially cherished spending time with her family, and loved it when they sang to her.
    Jane is survived by her brother, Gary P. (Fran) Hall; her nieces and nephews, Gary D. (Julie) Hall, Jr., Brian (KiKi) Hall, and Melissa (Sean) Perdue; her great nieces and nephews, Gary Julian, Rocco, Santino, Luciana, Sianna, London, and Shia, as well as by several cousins.
