Mr. and Mrs. Wallis W. Wood
of Dunwoody, Ga., have announced
the engagement of
their daughter, Victoria Lynne,
to Aaron C. Rice.
Mr. Rice is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. C. Eugene Rice, Seal Rd.,
Marcellus.
Miss Wood is a graduate of
Agnes Scott College, where she
majored in English literature
and creative writing. She is a
teacher at Brandon Hall in
Dunwoody.
Mr. Rice is a graduate of
Georgia Institute of Technology.
He is an information systems
consultant for Arthur Anderson
and Co. in Atlanta, Ga.
An engagement party was
held in the couple's honor, July
25, at the home of Mr. Rice's parents

Victoria Lynne Wood and
Aaron Craig Rice were married
October 17 in Atlanta, Ga. at the
Peachtree Rd. United Methodist
Church. The Rev. James Vande
Berg of Trinity Presbyterian
Church of Atlanta officiated at
the 8 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Wallis W. Wood of
Dunwoody, Ga. The bridegroom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.
Eugene Rice of Seal Rd., Marcellus.
Josephine Gilchrist was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Ruth Wunderlich Hansen,
Elizabeth Barnes and Ginger
Berry. Ally son Wood, cousin of
the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Mark Vislosky of Marcellus
was best man. Ushers were Eric
Rice, brother of the bridegroom;
Peter Gullo and William
Duserick. Seth Wood, cousin of
the bride, was ring bearer.
The bride's brothers, Walter,
Garret, Chris and Marc Wood,
were junior ushers.
A reception was held at The
Mansion Restaurant, Atlanta.
The couple traveled to Cancun
and Cozumel, Mexico. They are
residing at 470 Teal Ct, Roswell,
Ga.
Out-of-town guests attending
from the Marcellus area were
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Page,
Mr. and Mrs. James Masters,
Mr. and Mrs. John Hughes, Mr.
and Mrs. Bruce Ruggles, Mr.
and Mrs. Claude Rice, Mr. and
Mrs. James Rice and Julie Rice.
The bride is a graduate of
Agnes Scott College. She is an
English and French teacher at
Brandon Hall School, Dunwoody.
The bridegroom is a graduate
of Marcellus High School and
Georgia Institute of Technology.
He is an information systems
consultant for Arthur Andersen
and Co., Atlanta.
