Agnes W. Turner, 85, died Friday (Jan. 26, 2001) in Mount View Health Facility, Lockport, after a long illness. She had been a patient in the nursing home since 1993.
She was born Agnes Walck in Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Lutheran Church Women's Circle.
She was a teacher's aide at Spruce Elementary School for several years and volunteered at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
Her first husband, Lawrence Donner, died in 1979.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alfons; a daughter, Becky Parnell of Port Richey, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Comstock of Wichita, Kan., and Christine Pasek of the City of Tonawanda; a brother, the Rev. Bernard Walck of Lady Lake, Fla.; two sisters, Minnie Zobrist of Baton Rouge, La., and Kelley Durkee of North Tonawanda; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton
