Services for Alex P. Klettke, a retired surveyor, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1339 South Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
Klettke, 93, of Stoelting Street and formerly of Lewiston, died Friday (Dec. 22, 1989) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Lydda, ILl., he moved to Niagara County 77 years ago. He served in the Army during World War I.
Klettke was a licensed land surveyor for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. for 45 years until he retired in 1961. He also founded Klettke Land Surveyors in Bergholz.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Mohawk Pioneers Club.
His wife, the former Ida M. Kanehl, died in 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Florence Nevelson of Bridgeport, Conn.; a son, Ivan R. Klettke; two brothers, Walter G. Klettke of Sheboygan, WI., and Richard W. Klettke of Niagara Falls; a sister, Hattie Schroeder of Chisholm, MN; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
