The funeral of Allen Joel Barry,
for many years a resident of Ransomville,
was held from his late
home on Curtiss avenue, Wednes-
day, with services in charge of the
pastor of the Baptist church, Rev.
William D. Clough. Mr. Barry has
been in failing health for some time,
but on Friday of last week he suf-
fered a fall while walking home, and
was obliged to wait for help to come
to him to assist him home. This
may have hastened the end.
Mr. Barry was born in Lyndonville
and spent his boyhood there
For several years he owned and was
in charge of a drug store
past few years he was engaged in
buying fruit and produce.
In 1892 he was married to Lotta
Maud Ransom, who survives him.
He leaves also an only son Walter,
a brother, Newton Barry, of Lyn-
donville, and three grandchildren.
The flora expressions of love and
s/mpathy were numerous aid beautiful
The friends who bore him
o his last resting place in North
Ridge cemetery were Clarence Cor-
nell. Edward Richardson. A. H
Hoffman. William D. Wisner. Dr. C.
R. Clarke and Willard Holman.
