SEPT. 8, 1914 -- JUNE 25, 2004 Alvira M. Schultz, a farm wife and retired bookkeeper, died Friday in her home after a brief illness. She was 89.
Born Alvira Rusch in Buffalo, she graduated from Hutchinson-Central High School in 1932.
She moved to Wilson after her marriage in 1935 to Clarence J. Schultz. He died in 1971.
Mrs. Schultz worked as a bookkeeper for Frontier Foundries in Niagara Falls for 24 years, retiring in 1981. She also worked on the family farm for many years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching.
Survivors include two sons, David and Duane, both of Wilson; two daughters, Shirley Kroening of Sanborn and Diane Verel of Lockport; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday in St. Peter's Church, 4169 Church Road, Cambria. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria
