Miss Leonie Yolande Don Carlos,
daughter of Mrs. Walter
James, Parmelee, Springfield,
Mass., and the late Leon P. Don
Carlos, became the bride of Jo-
seph Raymond Beha, son of Am-
brose L. Beha and the late Mrs.
Beha, Waterville on Saturday,
September 21. The ceremony took
place at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church, with the Rev. A. A.. Au-
bertin, pastor, officiating.
Ernest Philie, organist, played
the traditional wedding marches
and Miss Marguerite Perron sang
Schubert's Ave Maria and Panis
Angelicus.
Miss Charlotte Halpin of Amherst,
Mass., was maid of honor
and the flower girls were Marie
Elizabeth Rival of Holyoke,
Mass., and Theresa Marie Weaver
of Albany. ' Donald A. Beha of
Waterville was his brother's best
man.
The bride was attired in a period
gown with Chantilly lace bodice
and bouffant skirt of chiffon
ending in a full court train. Her
imported illusion veil was held in
place by a Juliet cap of lace and
seed pearls and she carried a colonial
bouquet of white roses and
pom pons.
The maid of honor wore a gown
of aqua marquisette fashioned
with full skirt and fitted bodice
with sweetheart neckline. The
flower girls were similarly attired,
one in yellow and one i n '
lavender. All carried - colonial
bouquets of pink roses, pom pons
and blue delphiniums.
The bride attended Springfield
schools. Westfield State Teachers
College and Boston University.
She was formerly an instructor in
the commercial department of
Amherst High School in Amherst,
Mass.
The bridegroom attended Waterville
High School and Amherst
College under the Army Air Corps
Pre-Meteorological Training Program.
He served in t h e Army Air
Corps for three years,-18 months
of which he was stationed at Natal
and Bahia, Brazil.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served in Hotel
Highland, Springfield, Mass.,
after which the couple left for a
t r ip to Canada and through the
Adirondacks. For traveling the
bride wore an aqua costume with
brown and Brazilian alligator accessories
and a corsage of Talisman
roses and gardenias.
Mr. and Mrs. Beha will reside
on White Street, Waterville,
where the bridegroom is employed
as a salesman by W. J.
Bissell's Son
