Hilton, Aug. 19.-Wednesday evening
at 8 o'clock, at the Free. Methodist
Church of Parma Center. took place the
marriage of Thurlow Weed Burritt, son
of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Burritt. of Hilton,
and Miss Maud Sump, eldest
daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. W. Stamp,
of Niagara Falls. Canada.
Tlie bridal party entered the church
to tbe music of Mendelssohn's wedding
march, phyed by Miss Ruth Worhois.
The ushers were William Burritt. of Le
Roy. and Elton Holden. R. Bagley and
Fay Amidon. all of Hilton.
The ceremony was performed by tbe
bride's father, assisted by Rev. R. H.
Warren. Immediately after a reception
was held at the home of the parents of
the groom. Supper was served to about
ninety invited guests.
Among the out-of-town guests were:
President E. G. Burritt. of Greenville
College. III., and family: Mr. H. M. Burritt
and wife. of Kendall: Mrs. Helen
Burritt and children, of Albion; Mr. and
Mrs. W M. Patterson, of Grand Rapids.
Mich.; Mrs. Billings, of Palmyra; Rev.
M. C Burritt. of Le- Roy: Rev. and Mrs.
A. H. Bennett, of Perry: Rev. and Mrs.
L K. Manning, of Akron, and the
Misses Ada and Ruby Stamp, of Niagara
Falls.
The bride was the recipient of many
useful presents.
The newly wedded couple left In a
motor car for Rochester, from which
place they later left on a trip to Canada.
Mr. and Mrs. Burritt will reside on tbe
Borritt beaoeetesd farm.
