LILAC - Eugene Lilac of
Tonawanda, Friday evening
(Jan. 24, 1975) at DeGraff
Memorial Hospital after a long
illness. Born in DuBois, Pa., he
had been a resident of
Tonawanda for more than 50
years and was a member of the
Gastown Sportsmen's Club. An
Army Air Force veteran, he
had been employed at
Spaulding Fibre Co. for 30
years, retiring in 1969.
He is survived by his wife,
Evelyn, two daughters, Mrs.
Claudet Depew of Tonawanda
and Mrs. Eleanor Zellner of
North Tonawanda; three sons,
Earl of Chicago, Ill., Victor of
Niagara Falls and Howard of
Hammondsport, N.Y., also
survived by eight grandchildren
and several nieces
and nephews.
Services were conducted this
morning at John 0. Roth
Funeral Home, Morgan and
William Sts., Tonawanda by the
Rev. Richard L. Speck and the
Rev. David Kaplan. Burial in
White Chapel Cemetery.
