AT A SPECIAL TERM OF THE COUNTY
COURT. County of Niagara, State of New
York, at the City Hall in the City of
Niagara Falls, on the 33 day of April.
1943.
Present: HON. RAYMOND A. KNOWLES,
Judge, County Court, Niagara County.
In the Matter of Application of GEORGE
J. SILVERSTEIN, ELIZABETH SILVERSTEIN.
ALFRED SILVERSTEIN, ROBERT
SILVERSTETN. EDWARD SILVERSTEIN
and CHARLES SILVERSTEIN. to Change
Their Names to GEORGE J. SIEVER.
ELIZABETH SIEVER. ALFRED SIEVER,
ROBERT SIEVER, EDWARD SIEVER and
CHARLES SIEVER, respectively.
On reading and filing the petition of
George J. Silverstein and Elizabeth Silverstein,
verified on the 21 day of April, 1843,
praying for a change of name of said
George J Silversteln. Elizabeth Silverstein,
Alfred Silverstein, Robert Silverstein, Edward
Silverstein, and Charles Silverstein,
the latter four persons being the Infant
children of the first two persons, it being
requested that they be permitted to assume
the names of George J. Siever, Elisabeth
Siever, Alfred Siever, Robert Siever,
Edward Siever, and Charles Siever. respectively,
in place and stead of their
present names, and the service of notice
of such application on behalf of said infants
being hereby dispensed with, and the
court satisfied that said petition is true,
and, it appearing that there are no reasonable
objections to the changes to the
names proposed, and It appearing that the
interests of the said Infants will be substantially
promoted by the changes of
names;
Now. therefore, on motion of R. Robert
Merino. Attorney for said petitioners, it is
Ordered, that the said George J. Silverstein,
Elizabeth Silverstein, Afred Silverstein.
Robert Silverstein, Edward Silverstein
and Charles Silverstein be and are
hereby authorized to assume the names
of George J. Siever, Elizabeth Siever. Alfred
Siever. Robert Siever. Edward Siever.
and Charles Siever. respectively, in place
and stead of their present names on the
23 day of May, 1943. upon complying
with the provisions of Article 6 of the
Civil Rights Law. namely, that the petitioners
cause this order and the papers
upon which It Is granted to be filed In the
Office of the Clerk of the County of Niagara
within ten days of the date hereof,
and that within ten days from the date
of the entry of this order, the petitioners
cause a copy of said order to be published
In the Niagara Falls Gazette, and within
forty days after the date of this order,
proof of such publication by affidavit be
filed and recorded in the Office of the
Clerk of the County of Niagara, and after
such requirements are complied with the
said George J. Silverstein. Elizabeth Silverstein.
Alfred Silverstein. Robert Silverstein.
Edward Silverstein and Charles Silverstein.
respectively, shall on and after
the 23 day of May. 1943. be known as and
by the names George J. Siever. Elizabeth
Siever. Alfred Siever. Robert Siever. Edward
Siever and Charles Siever. respectively,
which names they are hereby authorized
to assume, and bv no other names.
