12067 Morris (Moe) Ziehm went home to be with his Lord & Savior January 16, 2021 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, November 19, 1932, he was the son of the late Grover and Clara Ziehm. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Yvonne. Children Doris Krom (Tom), Douglas Ziehm (Sharon), Deborah Adams (Christopher), Daniel Ziehm (Lucinda). Grandchildren Stacy Eustice (Benjamin), Dr. Stephanie Krom (fiancé Dr. Gabriel Vachon), Jason and Jennifer Forgue, Laura and Elyssa Adams and Lauren Ziehm. Great grandchild Bryce Eustice. He is also survived by his sister Yvonne Ziehm Bricca. Morris was predeceased by his siblings Doris, Chester and Pearl. He served in the United States Army from 1954-1956. Morris graduated in 1959 from the University of Buffalo School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science , then earned a Master of Science in Engineering from Union College. He was an associate professor of mechanical technology at Illinois Central College from 1968-1974. He then worked as an engineer at GE Large Steam Turbine retiring in 1994 after 29 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and an active member of the church council for many years. Calling hours will be held Friday January 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Masks must be worn and all Covid-19 restrictions will be adhered to. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church 153 Nott Terrace, Schenectady. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. 12068 Morris J. Corraine  of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home under the care  of Niagara Hospice with  his loving family by his side.    He was born in Coupon, PA, on October 18, 1931, the son of the late Louis and Enrica [Barone] Corraine.
Mr. Corraine served with the US Army in the  82nd Airborne during the Korean War as a paratrooper.    After the service, he moved to North Tonawanda, where he was employed at Durez Plastics as a millwright and crane operator.
In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed working in his yard, driving his tractor and spending time with his family, going back to Pennsylvania  and trips to the 911 memorial site.
Mr. Corraine liked to be called Jay and enjoyed making everyone laugh with his jokes and sense of humor.
He was the the husband of 39 years to the late Marion [Cribbs] Corraine, who passed away in May of 1994.  Mr. Corraine is survived by his seven children Michelle (Mike Cain), Michael (Margaret), Mark (Barbara), Marilyn, Marie (Tim Czelusta), Melissa (Dan Murray) Corraine and Melinda (Scott) Olick, 13 grandchildren Michele, Michael, Michael, Nicholas, Christopher, Matthew, Martin, Gary, John, Destini, Justice, Daniel, Keegan, 7 great grandchildren, a sister Marlene (Don) Small, a brother Louie (Monica) Corraine,  also many nieces, nephews and his grand dog Scout.
He was the grandfather of the late Dennis and brother of the late Geno and Ernest Corraine, Rene Goraj and Helen Papal.
His family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.

George Larkham "Scotty"
Scott, 92, a retired Washington
State Univrity professor, died of
age-related causes April 15 at a
Spokane hospital.
He was born Feb. 1, 1906, to
George Larkham and Florence
Claire DeWitt Scott in Neligh,
Neb. Theh family later moved to
Spokane where he attended
Grant Elementary and Lewis and
Clark High School.
He was married and divorced.
As a young man, he played
French horn in the Spokane
Philharmonic Orchestra and
trombone in a small band at the
Davenport Hotel.
He left Spokane in 1925 to
study French horn and organ at
the New England Conservatory of
Music in Boston. While in Boston,
he played with the Conservatory
Orchestra.
He received a bachelor's
degree in organ teaching in 1940
from the St. Louis Institute of
Music in Clayton, Mo. He earned
a master's degree in composition
in 1942 from the University of
Michigan in Ann Arbor. From
1942-51 he was a professor of
music at Illinois Wesleyan
University in Bloomington.
During that time,, he played
French horn with the St. Louis
Symphony Orchestra.
He wa a professor of music at
Washington State College, now
WSU, in Pullman from 1951-71
and taught music theory, organ
and French horn. After retire-
ment, he moved to Spokane and
later to Cheney, Wash., where he
was the organist for many years
at Cheney United Methodist
Church. He was a member of the
order of Freemasons.
He is survived by a sister,
Jessie Wilson of Seattle; two sons,
Roger Scott of Fremont,, Calif. and
George Larkham Scott IV of
Phoenix; a daughter, Shannon
Wade of Clearlake, Calif; and four
grandchildren.
A memorial service wil be
held at 2 p.m. on May 12 at
Cheney United Methodist
Church. Cheney Funeral Chapel
is in charge of arrangements.

under Father Beary and is now stationed

the Evangelist church at Pawling,
a close friend of Father Beary for
many years, will set as deacon. Subdeacon

and grateful memory by many of

sought reports of his illness.

generosity of spirit, his devotion to
all classes, especially the sick and
those in need of material and spiritual
comfort"

a classmate of Father Beary
while at Dunwoodle Seminary in
Yonkers, was the celebrant of the
Mass offered by the children of the
local parochial school today.

con at the children's Mass, with the
Rev. Vincent Jeffers, a former parishioner
now stationed at the Propogation
of the Faith Church In
Hew York City, serving as sub-
Father Beary's body will be removed
from the rectory at 3 P. M.
today and will rest in the church
throughout the night until the
Mass tomorrow. An honor guard of
members of the Senior Holy Name
Society of the parish will stand
guard in the church throughout the

chanted by 40 members of the
clergy at 9 P. M. tonight
Following the Mass tomorrow, a
police escort will lead the funeral
procession to the place of interment

The Rev. Edward J. Beary, who

served for the last sixteen years as
pastor of the Church of the Immaculate
Conception at Tuckahoe,
N. T., died of pneumonia yesterday
at the rectory. Surviving are three
sisters, the Misses Mary E. and
Alice C. Beary of Tuckahoe, and
Mrs. Katharine B. Graham of Rye.
Father Beary was born at Rye
sixty-seven years ago and studied
for the priesthood at St. Bonaventure's
College, St. Joseph's Seminary
and Dunwoodie Seminary.
He was ordained at St. Patrick's
Cathedral in 1898.
His first assignment was at the
Church of the Sacred Heart in
Mount Vernon, and in 1902 he went
to St. Raphael's Church, 504 West
Forty-first street, serving for
twelve years. Then he became
pastor of St Joseph's Church at
Croton Falls. He came to the Immaculate
Conception in 1922.
A high mass of requiem will be
celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Friday.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cem-
etery, Port Chester.

shower bouquet of white roses
and sweet peas. The bride wore
a double strand of pearls, the gift
of the groom.
Miss Mildred Broecker was maid
of honor, gowned in a powder
blue ninon and taffeta gown. Her
bouquet consisted of yellow daffodils
and white carnations.
The groom was attended by
his brother, Mr. Carl Wehrung of
Buffalo, as best man. The ushers
were Mr. William Zuch, uncle of
the br*de and Mr. Robert Moeller
the grcom's brother-in-law. PFC
Wehrung left on Wednesday for
Gulfport Field, Miss., where he
will resume his instructorship in
the air mechanics school, Mrs.

Trinity Old Lutheran church, in
Brunswick boulevard, Buffalo, was
the scene of a pretty evening wed-
ding February 7 when Miss Mildred
L. Moebius, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Moebius, of 326 Northamp-
ton street, Buffalo, became the
bride of Sergeant Harold G. Ma-
Ginn, son of Mr. and Mrs. George
MaGinn, of 2851 North avenue. The
Rev. Herman C. Damm, pastor of
the church, performed the ceremony.
The bride was lovely in a gown
fashioned with a white satin bodice
and white net skirt with a long
train. Her fingertip veil was caught
with a cluster of orange blossoms
and she carried white roses.
The bride's sister, Miss Jean M.
Moebius, wor powder blue net with
a taffeta bodice and was maid of
honor. Three Niagara Falls girls
were bridesmaids: Miss Phyllis
Wendt, Miss Bernice Millville and
Miss Edith Buerger who wore pink
net and taffeta and carried pink
rotes. Miss Lang sang T h e Lord's

The bride's mother wore navy bme
with matching accessories and the
bridegroom's mother wore a black
dress and black accessories. Their
corsages were gardinias.
Mr. Leonar Schultz, of Eigh-
teenth street, was best man and
Mr. Walter Holland and Mr. Donald
Woellner, uncles of the bridegroom
and residents of this city, were ush-
ers.
After the ceremony a reception
for 150 guests was helld at the Boreal
club. The couple left for a trip
through Eastern New York, for
which the bride selected a fuchsia
wool suit, a fur-trimmed coat and
black accessories with a corsage of
gardinias.
Sergeant McGinn will return to
his station in Spokane, Wash., and
Mrs. MaGinn will make her tempo-
rary residence with her parents in
Buffalo.

12086 Mr. Anthony J. Tavano, age 84, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Memorial service will be at NOON on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue.
Anthony was born on June 30, 1932 to Joseph and Jean (Critelli) Tavano in Niagara Falls, NY. He graduated from St Joseph's School in 1946 and Niagara Falls High in 1949. After graduation he went to work as a delivery driver for Buzelli's Dairy until he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1952. After 16 weeks of basic infantry training at Ft. Jackson, SC he was sent to 16 weeks of advanced leadership training. After graduating from leadership school he was assigned as an instructor at the Infantry School at Ft. Benning, GA. In 1954 he was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant from Ft. Benning, GA. In 1955 he went to work for Union Carbide as a cost clerk while attending Niagara University Evening Division. On June 22, 1957 he married Anita Forgione at St Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls. He worked for Carbide for 32 years at Niagara Falls and Tonawanda, NY, Cleveland, OH, Fostoria, OH, Clarksburg, WV, Charleston WV, and Clarksville TN. He retired in 1987 as a senior project leader in the Info Systems Division of Union Carbide. After Carbide, Tony worked for 8 years as Chief Info Officer for J.A. Reece Construction Company, and 7 years as Chief Info Officer for Averitt Hardwoods International in Clarksville TN, and afterward for Mitsubishi in Hopkinsville, KY. He spent his spare time fishing on the Cumberland and Tennessee rivers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anita; son, Anthony of Clarksville, TN; daughter, MaryAnn of Leominster, MA; brother, Joseph (Joree) Tavano of West Clarksville NY; granddaughters, Samantha Broderick and Kayla Tavano; grandson, Chris Tavano; great-grandson, Kaden Tavano; brother-in-law, Anthony (Lois) Forgione; sister-in-law, Mary Maellaro of Sealbeach, CA; sister-in-law, Carmela Forgione; brother-in-law, Angelo Conde; uncle, Anthony (Nina) DeMunda, Sr.; aunt, Mrs. John (Clara) Tavano; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Sarah Conde.
Tony touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity; he will be dearly missed.

12087 Mr. Benjamin W. Haseley, age 88, of Sanborn, NY passed away Thursday, March 29th, 2007 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.
Mr. Haseley was born in the Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY on May 26, 1918, he was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Ferchen) Haseley. He was a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church - Walmore Sanborn, NY, Where he had served as trustee and elder for many years. Ben was employed as a sales representative at Pils Service in Lockport, Niagara County, NY for 25 years, retiring in 1987. He had previously worked at the Calkins Lumber Company, as well as on the family farm.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, the former Gladys L. Kroening; his children, Jacqueline [ Clifford ] Blank, Donna [ Frank ] Licursi, Terry [ Debra ] Haseley, Patrice [ John ] Elnicki, a sister, Lydia Stoelting, brothers, Marcus [ Lizzie ] Haseley, Wallace Haseley, Albert [ Athea ] Haseley, brother in law Gilbert [ Norma ] Kroening, sister in law, Janet Kroening. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late, Norman, William, Richard Haseley and Esther Beutel.
The family will be present Sunday, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY. at 11 AM on Monday, with Rev. Bruce M. Gamache officiating. Interment at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery Wheatfield, NY.

12088 Mr. Carl Forth, aged 83 years of age, died this morning at his home in the Shawnee road. The deceased is survived by one son, William Forth and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Rockwood of Wilson, N. Y., and Mrs. James Riley of Martinsville. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the late residence and at 2:30 o'clock, from the Baptist Church at Shawnee. 12089 Mr. Donald Haseley, of Port Washington, passed away with his family by his side at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. He was 93 years old. Don was born in Kirchhayn, WI, on July 4, 1928, son of Eugene Haseley and Agnes Richert Haseley. The family moved to the Port Washington area, where Donald graduated from Port Washington High School with the class of 1946. After high school, Don served his country in the United States Army, playing trumpet in the 421st Army Band. He was honorably discharged in 1951. On October 9, 1954, Don married Lillian Wagner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barton. The couple settled in Port Washington to start their family. The couple were married for 64 years before Lillian preceded him in death in 2019. Don was the proud owner and operator of the Gamble's Store in Port Washington for many years. Later, he worked for Schmidt Bros. Dodge until his retirement. He was very active in his community, where he was a former member of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, the Port Washington Police and Fire Commission, and the Port Washington Kiwanis Club. Don was an active member of the American Legion Van Ells-Schanen Post 82 where he was a post commander (twice) and also a member of Post 5373 Veterans of Foreign Wars. For over 60 years, Don proudly served as Bugler for local honor guards, playing Taps whenever called upon for fellow veteran's funerals. Don is a current member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton and a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. Don is survived by his six children: Jeanne (Joe) Kunzelmann of Mt. Juliet, TN, Donald "Jim" (Maribeth) Haseley of Saugatuck, MI, Lori (Mike) Lanser of Sheboygan, Richard (Mary Kay) Haseley of Windemere, FL, Diane (Mike) Trowbridge of Hartford, and Robin (Jay) Hommel of Greer, SC. He is further survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, his siblings Nancy (Paul) Swatek and Eugene Haseley both of Lake Geneva, a sister-in-law Bernice Haseley of Port Washington, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lillian, three sisters and two brothers. Private family funeral services will be held. 12090 Mr. Eugene Louis Berg, Jr. age 61 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 3:47 am. He lived in North Tonawanda New York.

He was born in Buffalo New York on November 8, 1955 the son of Eugene L. Berg, Sr. and Gloria (nee Holdridge) Berg, both predeceased.

Eugene was self employed as a HVAC Technician and owned and operated Berg Heating.

Beloved husband of Michele M. (nee Januchowski) Berg. Cherished father of Norman (Jen) Tredo,Michele Lynn Berg, and the late Eugene L. Berg 111. Loving brother of Gloria (Keith) Aikenhead, Charles Berg, and Linda (Ken) Lucier. Fantastic grandfather of Melica, Gina, Jeffery, Isabella, and Alexis. Eugene is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

12091 Mr. Fred W. Hill, of Medina, passed away on Monday,
December 22, 2014 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hill was born in Medina,, November 1, 1926, a son
of the late William C. and Fern E. (Shepard) Hill. He
was a US Navy veteran and served during World War II
from 1944-46. He attended training at the Sampson
Naval Training Station. Following his discharge, e
returned to Medina. Mr. Hill was employed by Harrison
Radiator Division of GMC,, as an industrial Engineer,,
for many years. He was a longtime, devoted member
of St. John's Episcopal Church, served on the curch
vestry and was a member of the National Episcopal
Cursillo. He also was a member of Sampson SALT,
Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion, Lincoln Post
#1483, VFW and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his wife,, Paula A (Toot); 2 sons,
Gary G (Marlene) Hilll and Mark D Hill, 7
grandchildren,, David and Daniel Hill, Matthew and
Andrew Bishara, Tammy Runyon Kristi Crawley and
Rhonda Robison, a great grandchild, Caleb Runyon,
3 step children,, Anna Morales, Betty Davis and
Charlene Schmidt, several step grandchilren and
step great grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley E.
(Gardner) on August 21, 1955; his second wife,
Gladys E. (Marks) on Sept. 29, 2008; 2 daughters,
Marjorie Ellen Robinson and Barbara L. Bishara; and
his sister, Anita Pettigrew.

12092 Mr. Gary R. Vanderwalker, 70, of Spring Hill, passed away on July 5, 2021. He was born March 8, 1951 to Robert and Lois Vanderwalker in Medina, New York.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, Nicole, Tiffany, and Jordan; step-daughter, Christel; siblings, Lori, Rick and Dan; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

12093 Mr. Gerald Klopp currently of Wautoma formerly of Port Washington and Tomahawk passed away at Community Memorial Hospital in Wild Rose on Sunday morning November 2, 2014. He was 90 years old. Gerald was born in Port Washington WI on November 11 1923 son of Albert and Adeline Klotz Klopp. Gerald graduated from Port Washington High School in 1941. After working on Lake Michigan as a commercial fisherman he served in the US Maritime Service during WWII from 1943 to 1946 often sailing in the dangerous waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. On August 17 1946 Gerald was united in marriage with Phyllis Haseley Klopp at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. The couple settled in Port Washington where they raised their family. A few years after the war he joined his brothers in Klopp Brothers TV Sales and Service. Gerald also worked for over 20 years with General Motors until retiring as the Oak Creek Plant Fire Marshal in 1980. Gerald and Phyllis moved to Tomahawk to enjoy 30 years of retirement and then relocated to Mt. Morris to live with their daughter Carol due to health concerns. Gerald enjoyed serving his community as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 8 of St. John's Lutheran Church and after retirement as president of the Spirit Reservoir Association. As a member of the Tomahawk Fishing Unlimited he especially loved making lures as fishing contest prizes for children. A believer in hard work and self-reliance Gerald kept busy with do-it-yourself building projects and mechanical repairs. He was a self-taught jack-of-all-trades who would freely give his time to any friend in need of help with a home project. He found great pleasure in tending a large garden and canning the vegetables it produced. He also enjoyed fishing sudoku puzzles his pet dogs and watching TV shows about polka music and steam engine trains. Gerald was a loving husband and father who was happy to share the good life up north with his family. His children will always treasure memories of the horse drawn sleigh rides that he arranged for their mother's birthdays. During the final year of Phyllis's life he remained her faithful companion with visits in the nursing home every possible morning and afternoon. Throughout their 68 years of marriage Gerald and Phyllis maintained many life-long friendships and found more new friends while living in the Tomahawk area especially among their congregation at Grace Lutheran Church. Gerald is survived by their four children: Roger (Mary) Klopp of Stoughton Paul (Victoria) Klopp of Port Washington Carol (Gary) Frank of Mt. Morris and Stuart (Monika) Klopp of Alma CO eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is further survived by sisters-in law Mildred Klopp of Port Washington Doris Klopp of Duluth MN and many nieces nephews cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents his wife Phyllis sisters Margaret Quale Delores Paltz and Joyce Klein their spouses Franklin Quale John Paltz and Oscar Klein his brothers Wilbert Klopp Albert Klopp and Ralph Red Klopp and his sister-in-law Betty Klopp. The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue in Port Washington on Thursday November 6th from 6PM until 8PM and Friday morning 10AM - 11AM. Funeral Services will follow at 11AM on Friday with Rev. Mark Ziemer from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk WI officiating. Gerald will be laid to rest beside his wife in Union Cemetery Port Washington directly after the service. 12094 Mr. Gordon was the son of Warren R. Gordon Sr. and the late Amelia Strasburg Gordon. He received his bachelor's degree in business from the State University of Buffalo and formerly served in the U.S. Army National Guard. For 11 years, Mr Gordon and his wife Arlene Dalrynple Gordon owned and operated the White Horse Inn in Cassadaga and for the past two years had operated the Greenhurst Inn in Greenhurst, NY. He was a member of the Niagara Hose Co. of Tonawanda and St Mark's Lutheran Church of North Tonawanda. In addition to his father and wife, Mr Gordon is survived by a daughter Kelly Gordon and a son Mark Gordon both living at home in Dewittville and a sister Linda Carrigan of San Mateo. GORDON, Warren R (I77776)
 
12095 Mr. Harold A. Whiting, 87, of Medina, passed away on December 19, 2016 at the Medina Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Whiting was born in Hammond, IN, October 19, 1929, the only son of the late Ralph W. and Erma J. (Hale) Whiting. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1947, he served with the New York National Guard and the Drum Corps. He was a great lover of dogs, enjoyed golf, bowling and played football pools.
Mr. Whiting was employed by US Gypsum Company, Thomas J. Lipton Company and Phinney Tool & Die Company.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary (Bensley) Whiting; 2 daughters, Deborah (Jeff) Foster and Melinda “Jello” Whiting; grandchildren, Stephanie (Bill) Harris, Stephen (Ashley) Foster, Thomas “T.J.” Foster, Stacey (Tim) Costich and Scott (Carrie) Colonna; great grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, and Evan Harris, Bryson and Tessa Costich, Tucker and Jackson Colonna; “grand” dogs, Raven, Mollie, Odessa, Skye, Jack, Michone and Atlas. He was predeceased by his father, long time Medina Fire Chief, Ralph W. Whiting, his mother, Erma Whiting, his daughter, Janice Colonna and son, Barry Whiting.
There will be no prior calling hours. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring, 2017, at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

12096 Mr. Joseph P Heath, of Medina, passed away Monday,
January 05, 2015 at the New York State Veterans
Home in Batavia.
Mr. Heath was born in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of the
late Lincoln Jacob and Loretta (Martin) Heath. A
graduate of Bishop Duffy HIgh School, he served in the
US Marine Corps in Viet Nam from 1960-65. Mr.
Heath was employed by Harrison Radiator Division of
GMC, as a floor inspector, for several years. He was a
member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Lincoln Pot
#1483, VFW, Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion,
and was a Master Gardener.
Survivors include his wife, Marie F. (Frenier); 2
children,, Joseph J. (Lisa) Heath and Jennifer (Dewey)
Back both of Batavia, 4 grandchildren,, Conor and Kylie
Heath, Bethany and Jacob Back; 4 great
grandchildren; brother of Barbara A. Wood, Patrick G.
Heath, Mary Margaret Hammill, Lorraine M. Harvey,

12097 Mr. Norman E. Starkweather, 79, of Albion, passed away June 15, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side.


He was born in the Town of Barre, August 3, 1936, a son of Louie and Alma (Brunning) Starkweather. Norm was a lifelong resident of Albion and graduated from Albion High School. He joined the US Army in 1955 and served for two years, including a tour in Italy. Norm enjoyed riding his motorcycle, telling a story about his motorcycle mishap, telling jokes, (even some corny ones), being funny and watching his westerns. Norm worked for Rice Homes for several years. He owned and operated Starkweather Construction until he retired in 2005. He sure could drive that bulldozer.


Norm is predeceased by his father and mother, Louie and Alma Starkweather, his first wife, Marcia Thaine Starkweather, his granddaughter, Brandy Starkweather and step daughter, Patricia Stahl.


Norm is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Wright) Starkweather; sons, Doug Starkweather and Jeff Starkweather; step daughter, Jacqueline (Joseph) Vasquez; grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Starkweather, Mitchell Starkweather, Morgan Haak; great grandchildren, Lily, Leah, and Madden Starkweather.


Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday at 1PM at the Free Methodist Church, 25 S. Platt St., Albion. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.

12098 Mr. Robert Alan Bradley, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away, suddenly, on Monday, July 8, 2019.  Born on December 22, 1951 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late George W. and Frances (Slaiman) Bradley. On April 15, 1972, Robert married the love of his life, the former Dawn Arnold in the Navy Chapel in Charleston, SC.
 
Mr. Bradley graduated from Niagara Falls High School and earned his associates degree from Erie Community College.  Robert enlisted in the United States Navy on July 7, 1970 and retired on December 3, 1994 as a Sonar Technician, 1st Class Petty Officer and Recruiting officer.  Following his retirement he worked for Niagara Auto Electric and Norman G. Jensen/Livingston Intl CHB.  He was most proud of his family position he held of “Pet Maintenance Supervisor.”
 
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by a son, Christopher J. Bradley.
 
Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Dawn (Arnold); children, Rev. Daniel (Mary Babcock) Bradley, Sharon Bradley and Joshua (Tiffany Marin) Bradley; granddaughter, Kiah Bradley; siblings, George William “Skip” (Gale A. Brontmire) III, Kimi, Bruce and Carol S. Bradley and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
 
The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Open Arms Community Church, 4143 Beach Ridge Road, North Tonawanda, NY.  EVERYONE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH.  Interment, concluding with Military Honors, in Acacia Park Cemetery.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to The Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park or to the Patriot Guard Riders.  Arrangements are under the care of Michael R. 12099 Mr. Roy B. Baker, Sr., of Medina, passed away on November 16, 2016 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.


Mr. Baker was born in Johnsonburg, NY, December 16, 1929, a son of the late Odell and Marjorie (Eddy) Baker. On October 28, 1950, he married the former Gertrude Hillyard. Mr. Baker was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Harrison Radiator, as a tow motor operator, for thirty years. He also was employed by the Medina Central School District, as a school bus driver, for twenty four years.


Active in the community, he was a founding member of the Medina Crusaders Motorcycle Club in 1957 and a charter member of the Orleans County Sheriff Department Auxiliary Motorcycle Patrol and served from 1986-1995. He had a great interest in Harley Davidsons. He owned and rode Harley’s since 1945. Through his friendship with Stan’s Harley-Davidson, Inc., he was a longtime customer and friend. Roy was a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and participated in many HOG events. He enjoyed many Sturgis Motorcycle Rallies. Roy was a member of Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion and the UAW, Local #686.


Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two children, Linda (Rich) Pitcher and Roy (Cindy) Baker, Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Jim, Richie (Stacey), Brian (Melinda) and Sara (Andi); 11 great grandchildren, Nickolas, Tyler, Brock, Gunner, Jacob, Elijah, Wyatt, Lukin, Erica, Mike and Zoe; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Clarence and Melvin and a sister, Marie.


Friends may call on Monday (2-5) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina. Military honors will be accorded at 5PM Monday at the funeral home by members of Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion and Lincoln Post #1483, VFW.

12100 Mr. Virgil M. Cross, 81, of Andalusia, passed away Monday February 17, 2020 at Andalusia Manor.
Mr. Cross lived most of his life in New York.  He was a truck driver for Merritt Paving and later in life he started his own company, Cross Trucking.  In his later years, he moved to the Andalusia area.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Cross of Andalusia; three daughters, Theresa Cross Smith of Georgia, Jacqui Ledbetter and fiance' Tim Watson of Georgia, Gloria Ann (Lee) Coleman of Montgomery, AL; two sons, Gary (Kim) Cross of Niagara Falls, NY, Virgil (Dinah) Cross of Pendelton, NY; two stepsons, Robert (Mary Ann) Raley, Johnny (Karen) Raley, of Andalusia; a step daughter, Vicky Rae (Tommy) Byrd of Andalusia; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Sue (Jim)Lapponese of Ft. Myers, FL. He is predeceased by his parents, brother, sister, and step daughter, Cindy Stroud.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 23 from 2 - 4 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
