She was formerly of Lockport Road in Sanborn. Despite the loss of her husband, Kenneth Witkop in 1974 at an early age, and her numerous hardships and health problems, it is difficult to think of a time in which she complained and how three of these remained: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love- 1 Corinthians 13:13. If a life is to be measured by personal possessions, her life missed the mark. But if life is to be measured by Faith in a risen Savior, Hope in eternal life and Love to all, then her life was rich indeed, and we are richer for having known her.
