Buffamonte, son of Mrs. Rose Buffamonte. of Nineteenth street. The ceremony was solemnized Saturday morning at 9:15 o'clock at the 8t. Joseph's church, with the Rev. Celestme Damlano officiating. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother. Mr. Frank Bruno, was lovely in a , gown of white bridal satin and lace with a graceful train. She carried a bouquet of white roses with streamers of* lilies-of-the-valley. Miss Irene Bruno, sister of the bride and her only attendant, was becomingly gowned in a floor length gown of blue. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Corporal Vincent J.. Buffamonte, of the United States Marines, was his brother's best man. After the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride's' mother for the immedi- ate families. The mother of the bride choose a blackk afternoon dress and wore a corsage of roses. JOHNSBURG, Jan. 15- While chrysanthemums and gladioli flanked by tall while tapers in candelabra and palms formed an effective jetting in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Jan. 9, for the mar- riage of Miss Pauline Schulmeistcr and Robert Eberle. The Rev. Hugo Kleiner officiated at the ceremony uniting in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Schulmeister, North Tonawanda, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Eberle, Summit Ave., Albany. An organ prelude preceding the ceremony and traditional wedding music was presented by Mrs. Albert Hartwick, Alvin Pagels soloist, "O Perfect Love," and 'The Lord's Prayer." Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of nylon Uce over taffeta, the waltz-length colonial skirt having a deep flounce of nyjon tulle. Her elbow-length veil of French illusion was caught to a lace bonnet, sweetheart shape and trimmed with seed pearls. She wore a mother of pearl locket, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried a white orchid arranged on a prayer book with a shower of stephanotis. Miss Alice Schulmeister was her sister's only attendant. She wore a waltz-length gown of Arabian peacock crystalettc trimmed with velvet and a matching hat, and carried a cascade bouquet of red pointaettias. William Weitz Jr., attended the bridegroom as best man and Donald Eberle. Albany, and Albert Lind served as ushers. The mother of the bride chose a gown of champagne brocade accented with black accessories and complemented with a corsage of rubrum lilies and sweetheart roses. The bridegroom's mother was gowned in dior blue brocade. Her accessories were black and she wore a corsage of rubrum lilies and sweetheart roses. A receiption followed the cere- mony in the Clay Pipe Room of the Delaware Hotel. Out of town guests were present from Titusville, Pa.; Newark, N.Y., Batavia, Orch- ard Park, Albany, and Indianapolis, Ind. Mrs. Seelow was a member of I m m a n u e l Lutheran Church, Ridgewood, and its Ladies Aid Society. Colucci Funeral Cha p e l a n d at 9:30 a,m. at Prince o f P e a ce Church. Mr. Tirabassi died Thursday (Jan. 14, 1965). He wa pronunced dead on admis- sion to Memor- ial Hospital. Death was at- tributed to a heart attack. He was born in New York City, the son of Mr. a id Mrs. Salvatore Tirabassi, and had lived in Niagara Falls for 46 years. He was a member of the Bishop Duffy Men's Club, the Niagara Falls Area Cham- ber of Commerce, the YMCA, the United Mote Business Association and the Hoy Name Society of Prince of Peace Church. He graduated from Niagara Fallsl High School and, during the earlly '30s, played guard with the Niagara Falls Rang- ers and the Stone Gordons football teams and also play- ed semi-professional baseball with the Elperts team as a second baseman. Mr. Tirabassi opened the Bell-Aire Motel in 1949. Prior to that year he had been em- ployed for 18 years as a chem- ical operaor at the Oldbury Electro-Chemical Co. Ellenbaurn, 79 years old, lifelong and widely known resident of this city, died Saturday night at her home, 409 Third St. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 p. m. tomorrow, with services at St. Peter's Episcopal church at 2.30 p. m., the Rev. Dr. Philip \V. Mosher and the Rev. Dr. Charles N. Tyndell officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Oak wood cemetery. Mrs. Ellenbaum's death followed a long illness. She had been confined to bed for the past six months. Members of her family were at her bedside when she died. Born in Niagara Falls, July 29, 1853, Mrs. Ellenbaurn was a member of a widely known pioneer family. She was a sister of the late John C. Stricker and of George Stricker, Jacob Stricker, Gottlieb Stricker, Fred Siricker and Mrs. Caroline Esslie. She was the widow of J. Henry Elicnbaum and the mother of the late Clark E. Ellenbaurn. Several nephews and nieces survive. Mrs. Ellenbaurn, who had a wldt circle of friends, was a devout member of St. Peter's Episcopal church, where she worshipped for many years. Herbst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herbst, of Route No. 1, Lockport. The Rev. Herbert L. Segnier officiated at the double ring cememony. The bride was lovely in traditional white satin gown with a short train It had a sweetheart neckline and sleeves coming to a point at the wrist. Her finger-tip veil with lace edging fell from a headdress of or- ange blossoms. The only jewelry worn by the bride was a locket, present of the groom. Her bridal bouquet was of large white gladioli, with an archid center, tied with white satin ribbons. The matron of honor, Mrs. Elena, sister of the bride, wore a beautiful blue gown with a brocaded satin bodice and a net skirt over satin. She carried a cascade of pink car- nations, tied with matching satin ribbons. The bridesmaids, Mrs. Lucille Gas- kill, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Ida Schworm, sister of the bride, were attired in pink gowns fashioned the same as that of the matron of honor. They carried cascades of blue carnations tied with blue satin ribbons. The bridegroom had as his best man Mr. Burnet Strasburg. brother of the bride. He was also attended by Mr. Ward Gasklll, brother-in-law of the groom, and Mr; Lewis H. Schworm. brother-in-law ot the bride. They acted as ushers. The mother of the bride wore a black crepe dress with a corsage of red roses. The mother of the groom wore a becoming light gray suit with a corsage of red roses and white carnations, and black accessories. Mr. Ronald Gotts sand "Oh Prom- ise Me" and "I Love You Truly" be- fore the wedding ceremony. After the wedding, dinner was served to the bridal party and im- mediate families at the home of the bride's parents. 13715 | Niagara Gazette - 1/16/1956 LOCKPORT, Jan. 16 - Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Seidel, 72, who lived alone at 243 van Buren St., was found dead on the sidewalk in the rear, of her home, at about 7:25 this morning. The police report stated Mrs., Seidel "appeared to have been dead for several hours." Mr. Lemuel R. Hurlbut, Niagara County coroner is investigating. Mrs. Seidel's bady wis seen on the sidewalk this morning by Mrs. Louis L. Sclnta as she opened the curtains of the dining room window in her home. Mrs. Scinta lives next door and notified police and Patrolmen Robert J. Costello and Howard J. Ray investigated. Mrs. Seidel a native of Medina bad lived in tockport about 30 years. She was the widow of Charles Seidel and the daughter of the late Countland and Matilda Boyce Bissell. A sister, Mrs. Delia Pagenant, of Medina, and a brother, Melvin Bissell, Kendell survive. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 at Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, the Rev. Herbert L. Siegner, pastor of St. Peters Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating. Brumley, 43, of Quaker Rd., a general practicioner in the Barker Village area since 1939, and physician for Barker Central School, died today at his home after a heart attack. He had suffered a previous attack last summer. Dr. Brumley was horn in Lockport, Feb. 26. 1911, a son of the late Henry and Jennie Luskey Brumley. He was a graduate of Lockport High School and the University of Buffalo Medical Scool jn 1935. He interned at Buffalo General Hospital, until 1936. Before moving to Barker he practiced at Lockport for one year. At the time of his death he was a member of the Lockport City Hospital staff. Dr. Brumley entered the Army Air Corps in 1942 as lieutenant and was discharged in 1946 as a major. He served for 3 1/2 years at Biloxi. Miss. He was a past president of the Lockport Academy of Medicine, a member of the Niagara County Medical Assn.. the New * York State Medical Assn., a past master of Somerset Lodge. F and AM, and a member of the Barker Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Lorena Knatler, of Lockport; two sons, Brian T. and Charles E. Binkley, 69, of 1673 Ridge Road, Lewiston, a retired farmer, died Monday (Jan. 17, 1968) at DeGraff Memorial H o s p i t a l , North Tonawanda, after a Short illness. He was born in Niagara Falls May 25, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Binkley. He lived on Tuscarora Road, Town of Niagara, most of his life and prior to his retirement in 1955 he farmed In the area. Mr. Binkley was past master of LaSalle Lod-ge No. 1049, F&AM, and past p a t r o n, Order of the Eastern Star No. 785. He is survived by his widow, Mary E. Binkley; a son, Howard J. Binkley, North Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Arthurs, Solon, Ohio, and 14 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Milan Slahor, pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, Lewlston. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday.
