She was a passenger on the cycle operated by her nephew, Rodger L. Woodcock of the same address on Sunset Drive, Town of Lockport, when it went out of control and tipped over on its side. 14515 | Niagara Gazette - 10/6/1936 One of the prettiest fall weddings took place Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, when Miss Mildred Williams was united In marriage to Arthur Schultz. The Rev. O. Ziemer. pastor of the church, officiating. The bride entered the church to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march and was given In marriage by her father. The bride was exquisitely dainty to white satin on princess lines, with a long train. Her veil was coronet style and she carried a cascade bouquet of gardenias and lilies- of -the-valley. Her matron of honor, Mrs. Clarence Williams, sister-lnlaw of the bride, was gowned in beige silk net with hat to match, carrying orchid mums with dark shadea of pom poms. The maid of honor, Miss Annabeth Williams, of Lockport. was In pink silk net, her hat turban shaped, with shoulder length veil, and she carried yellow chrysanthemums and pom poms of rust shades. Miss Ruth Schultz and Mrs. Howard Weln, of Tonawanda, were bridesmaids and each wore a gown of aquamarine with matching hats. They carried mums of rust color with yellow pom poms. The music for the wedding was played by Mrs. Frank Schweitzer. The altar of the church was beautifully decorated with palms, ferns and gladioli. The groom had as his best man Walter Williams and the ushers for the ceremony were Clarence Williams and Ernest Dietrich The bride's mother was gowned in orchid chiffon with hat of purple shades and she wore a corsage of tea roses and baby's breath. The groom's mother wore black silk lace with matching hat and carried a corsage of white pom poms and white roses. The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's brother, Clarence Williams, of Rlvershore drive and at the bride's table, which was artistically decorated in white, covers were laid for 11. A large three-tlcred wedding cake graced the center qf the bride's table. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Schultz left for a wedding trip to New York City, Atlantic City, Baltimore and Washington and places in Pennsyl- vania. The bride was attired In a plum crepe dress, with matching accessories, and wore a shoulder corsage of white roses and baby's breath. Her only attendant was Miss Margaret Volls, who were a brown crepe dress, with brown accessories, and a shoulder corsage of yellow tea roses and baby's breath. The groom was attended by Wilbur Burns. 14550 | Niagara Gazette - 10/8/1937 A lovely fall wedding was solemnized Sunday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, in St. Peter's Lutheran church. at Walmore, when Miss Ruth Retzlaff, daughter of Mt. and Mrs. Rudolph Retzlaff. of Sanborn, became the bride of Irwin Walck. son of Fred Walck, of Sanborn. The Rev, Edward Grabau officiated at the ceremony. The church was decorated with autumn leaves and fall flowers, which made a beautiful background for the wedding. The bride, who entered on the arm of her father, was charming in a gown of white lace with a long satin train. From her halo of rhlnestone, caught at the side with a cluster of orange blossoms, hung her tulle veil trimmed with lace and satin. Her bridal bouquet was of white roses, calla lilies and baby's breath fastened with white ribbons and lilles-of-the-valley. Miss Lillian Retzlaff, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Irma Walck, niece of the groom was bridesmaid. Both were gowned alike in blushed rose striped satin with rainbow colored head bands to match. They both carried a bou- quet of pink and yellow roses and baby's breath, tied with a pink bow. Howard Walck, was best man and John Kroning, nephew of the groom, also attended him. The ushers were Herbert Jagow, cousin of the bride and Edward Walck, brother of the. groom. The bride's mother chose a gown of brown crepe trimmed with velvet and a corsage of pink roses. Following the wedding, a reception and dinner was held at the bride's home.
