White gladioli and lilies decorated the altar and sanctuary of St, Joseph's for the 8:30 o'clock ceremony which was followed by a Solemn High Nuptial Mass. Given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Joseph Granieri, the bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Martha A. Granieri, as maid of honor, and Miss Lucy Mastromatteo as bridesmaid. Mr. Stephen H. Jarlenski served as best man. The usher was Mr. Samuel T. Granieri, cousin of the bride. A silk veil of illusion, which cascaded from a queen's crown of lace-trimmed with sequins, enhanced the nylon tulle and lace wedding gown of the bride. The lace bodice was styled with a V neckline and long sleeves and rose above a nylon tulle skirt, banded with rosepoint lace, and extending into a cathedral-length train. Her white ros«s-- and stephanoti cascade bouquet was centered with a white orchid. Similar strapless net gowns with stoles and matching ponpom headpieces were worn by the bridal 'attendants. Miss Granieri, in yellow, carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and blue flowers, while the bridesmaid in blue, carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and blue flowers. White accessories were chosen by the mother of the bride to accent her navy blue shantung dress. The mother of the bridegroom selected a navy blue net dress with pink accessories. For traveling to the Hidden Valley ranch in the Adirondack mountains, where the couple will honeymoon, the bride chose a two-piece blue silk dress with "white accessories and an orchid corsage. Nov. 15.- The marriage of Hilda Beahr. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beahr, of Wolcottsville, to Howard Waterstreet, also of Wolcottsville, was solemnized Wednesday evening at the St. Micheal's Evangelical Lutheran church here. Rev. Frederick Schleef officiating. Palms and pink ribbons were used in the decorations of the church and the wedding march was played by during the ceremony. Kred Winters with "O Promise Me" The bride was gowned in white pussy willow taffeta over white satin with rhlnestone trimming. Her veil was embroidered and she carried a hower bouquet of bride roses and chrysanthemums. Miss Louise Altman of Middleport, as maid of honor, wore a gown of green crepe while the second attendant, Mrs. Millard Walter, wore a gown of white satin and each carried pink roses. Otto Beahr and Millard Walter attended the groom. The ushers were Harold Beahr and Ernest Shilling with Evelyn Beahr acting as flower girl. Both Mrs. Beahr and Mrs. Waterstreet, mothers of the bride and groom, wore costumes of brown silk crepe. Some 45 guests attended the reception which was held at the home of the bride where pink and white were used In the house decorations with sixteen seated at the bridal table. The groom's gift to the bride was a handsome leather purse and to his attendants bill folds while the bride presented spoons to her maid and matron. 14674 | Niagara Gazette - 11/16/1953 Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Harry Adams Sr., 8427 Frontier Ave., whose body was,found in the Mathieson Alkali Co. dump yesterday'by his son-in- law, Richard Trowell. Police said that Mr. Adams had been gathering scrap metal. It was reported that Dr. Lemuel R. Hurlbut, Lockport, issued, a certificate of death from natural causes. Mr. Adams left home early yesterday and his family began searching for him late in the afternoon when he failed to return home. Police, called to the dump when residents of the area noticed his car parked near the dump for a long time with his dog inside, arrived shortly after Mr. Trowell found the body. A native of Germantown, N. Y Mr. Adams retired in 1950 after 17 years as a Mathieson employe. Previously, he had been a silversmith at the Rogers Silverplate Co. for 27 years before the company moved from this city. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna May Burns and Mrs. Trowell, and two sons, Charles G. and Harry Adams Jr., this city, and by a third son, Gerald H. Adams, North Tonawanda. Miss Emily M. Fusillo, maid of honor, wore a pink gown and carried a .colonial bouquet of pink and blue carnations and pompons. Miss Theresa H. Roger Gordon Zuch, 19, of Klemer Rd., Wheatfield, was promounced dead on arrival at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance. He suffered a fraactured skull and broken left leg. Beakman, 66; his wife, May Vera Beakman. 53, and her sister, Mrs. Hazel Ogden. 58, died when a fire destroyed the Beakman's house trailer. Mrs. Ogden had been visiting her sister. The fire is believed to have been touched off by a cooking stove, although the exact cause has not been determined. Mr. Beakman, a Lockport native was a house trainer for the Robert Metcalf Stables in Leroy and was a member of the American Trotting Horses Association. He was the son of William Beakman. Francis McKenna performed a doublering ceremony. The interior of the church was graced with arrangements of baby white pompons in vases. Organ music was provided throughout the wedding ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and MFS. William' Smith, 67th St. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Arthur P. Milleville, Cayuga Dr., and the late Mr. Milleville. A ballerina-length gown of Alencon lace fashioned with scoop neckline, basque bodice and bouffant skirt was worn by the former Miss Smith. A cascade of nylon tulle ruffles and a large satin bow formed back interest of the skirt. The bride's veil of French illusion was caught'to her lace pillbox headpiece and she carried a colonial bouquet of white baby roses centered with heather from Scotland. * * # . * . MISS PATRICIA M. Smith .was her sister's maid of honor. She was attired in an aqua velvet cocktail dress and'white feathered headdress. A miniature colonial bouquet of white'and pink roses centered with Scotch heather and attached to a white fur muff completed her ensemble. Robert L. 14696 | Niagara Gazette - 11/18/1926 One of the very loveliest of autumn weddings took place on Monday evening at 6 o'clock in the Zlon Evangelical Lutheran church when Miss Esther Anne Baum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Baum of Lewlston road was united in marriage to Mr. Fred M. Spinner of Lockport, the Rev. Herman Brezing officiating. The church, was attractively decorated with palms and chrysanthemums. Prior to the ceremony, Mrs. Cummerford, the church organist, rendered two organ solos. Miss Juanlta Crofts sang very effectively, "I Love You Truly" and "Oh, Promise Me." To the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding March, played by Mrs. Commorford, the bride entered the church on the arm of her father who gave her away. She was lovely in a gown of white satin back crepe with a Bilk lace yoke and a skirt of inlaid scallops. The veil waa of embrollered moltne arranged Spanish fashion with two bands of orange blossoms across the front. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses, lilies of the valley and baby's breath. , Miss Jeanette Baum, the maid of honor, was charming In peach changeable taffeta with tight bodice and full scalloped skirt and large georgette bertha collar. Hor picture hat was peach georgette trimmed with metal cloth. She wore gold brocaded slippers and gold colored hose. She carried a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. Mrs. Baum, mother of the bride, wore gold-embroidered black georgette over rose satin and a gold metalcloth hat. Mrs. Spinner, the groom's mother, wore channel red satin with velour hat to match. The bride presented her maid of honor with a silver vanity case and brooch, her two bridesmaids with necklaces and tiic soloist with crystal necklace and brooch to match. The groom presented his best man with gold studs and the ushers with silk scarfs. Immediately following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home Of the bride's parents to seventy five guests. Covers were laid for twelve at the bride's tablo which was centered with the wedding cake and attractively decorated with roses and ferns. 14697 | Niagara Gazette - 11/18/1931 NORTH TONAWANDA, Nov. 18 - John F. Aderman. 42 years old, died suddenly yesterday at his home on the Nash road, just north of the city line. He was born in Chicago, but had lived most of his life in this locality. He was employed at the Frontier Manufacturing Company's plant on Erie avenue, where he worked until Saturday. He was stricken with heart disease over the week-end. Mr. Aderman was an active member of the Nashville fire department, located at the junction of the Niagara Falls boulevard and the Nash road. A number of years ago he was prominent as a scmipro football player. Surviving are a wife, Rose: four sons, Robert, John. Laverne and Franklin; two daughters, Alvina and Evelyn; a brother, Charles Aderman, Newfane, and two sisters. Miss Viola Aderman, Buffalo, and Mrs. John Sherman, Warrens Corner.
