Alice was an amazing mentor and friend to all her family and those at SonRays Ministries, an organization in which she was director for over 35 years. She always reminded everyone that life is precious from conception to eternity. Her message even now would be that it isn't about knowing a God, it's about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Hilda (Jagow) Shaver. Wife of Ronald Murchie. Mother of Candace (Douglas) Licht, Melody (Jesse) Arcadipane. Grandmama of Brooke (Nick) Calcagno; Joshua (Katie), Matthew, Jeremiah, and Jacob Licht; Alexa, Layla, and Caleb Arcadipane. Great-grandmother of 4 great-grandchildren. Sister of Carol (late Arnie) Bailey, Patty (Leon) Rawls, Kay (late James) Larson, Betty (William) Sitzman, Mary (Andrew) Grimaldi, late Sally (David) Nabozny, late Linda (late William) Coldicott, Daniel Shaver, and Cindy Schuh. Allan W Zuch age 92 was called home to the Lord on Monday May 9, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Al, as he was known, served in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1952 to return home to marry his love, Beverly. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, traveling and supervising bingo at Rescue Fire Co. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Beverly (nee Richert) Zuch. He is survived by daughters Patti (Daniel) Hutchinson of The Colony, TX, Anna (Wayne) Stoner of Loveland, CO and son Garry (Susan) Zuch of North Tonawanda. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences. It is greatly appreciated. Loving father of Anthony M. Pellegrino (Sondra Forgie), James J. Pellegrino and Paul R. Pellegrino (Tammy Denning). Grandfather of J.R. Pellegrino, Ryan Pellegrino, Corey Pellegrino, Brandon Pellegrino, Meghan Pellegrino, Joseph Pellegrino and Gavriella Pellegrino. Brother of Rose Mary (William) Billman, Eugenia (the late Larry) Brennon and the late Michael (Violet) Pellegrino and Teresa (Frank) Morabito.
Pooch retired from International Paper Company and Niagara County. He was a U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran. He belonged to the Renaissance Club in North Tonawanda, the Ganson Street Tigers and a co-founder of the Locust Street Whale Club.
There is no prior visitation. Interment will be at the Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu, NY.

Bruce Frederick Herman, age 77, of North Tonawanda, went to be with his Lord, May 5, 2022. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran. He had retired from the Niagara Wheatfield School District. He was an avid gardener, he loved sharing garden knowledge and his plants. He loved reading, traveling, fishing and the beach. He was a volunteer at the North Tonawanda Botanical Gardens. He was a member of the W.N.Y Hosta Society and the Buffalo Area Daylily Society. Bruce was always patient and kind and he loved his family and friends. He was the son of the late Reuben and Elizabeth Herman. Beloved husband of Marie (Grzebinski) Herman. Brother of Douglas (June) Herman and Richard (Anne) Herman, brother-in-law of Christine Williams. Carolyn (Kreher) Huntington surrounded by the love of her family peacefully passed away on Saturday January 22, at the age of 86.

She is survived by husband Carl whom she has been married to for nearly 65 years. Carolyn has five children; Patricia (Scott Sigel), Kathleen (Greg Obusek), Carl, Judy (Dennis Crowley) and Daniel (JoAnne) and nine grandchildren: Ryan, Colin, Abbie, Devon, David, Dylan, Jenna, Adam and Derek and great grand-daughter Isla. She is also survived by two siblings Katherine and William and numerous nieces and nephews.

Other siblings that predeceased her are Ronald, Ruth, Henry, Donald, and twin sister Marilyn.

Growing up in the Kreher family egg business Carolyn developed strong family values and work ethic. She valued education and graduated first in her Registered Nursing class at Buffalo General School of Nursing. After graduation she worked at different hospitals including Medina Memorial. She provided private duty nursing to those who were nearing end of life. Carolyn had a gift of being able to comfort others.

Carolyn and Carl with the help of their children continue to maintain a family farm market for over 60 years growing some of the best corn and strawberries in WNY. She often could be seen waiting on customers as recently as this past summer.

Carolyn’s first priority has always been her family and they knew it. She always put them first. Her five children and husband were well loved and truly blessed to have had such a wonderful mother.

There will be a private funeral for family at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home in Middleport New York.

In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Catholic Charities or to the Activities Department at the Orchard Nursing home in Medina NY.

He served as a Director of the North Tonawanda Fireman’s Benevolent Association. He had been employed by Cramer Industrial Products and Columbus McKinnon. He was the son of the late Arthur and Ruth Lemke.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Wigand) Lemke. Dear father of Donna Marie (Patrick) Hutton, and Mark Keith (Faith) Lemke. life long resident of North Tonawanda, and graduated from North Tonawanda Senior High School.
Patricia and her husband used to go out dancing every Saturday night, and she greatly looked forward to
it. Above all Patricia cherished her family and took pride in taking care of them. She was a dedicated
housewife who always put her family first.

(Albion)  John N. “Gramps” Bartel age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 13, 2022.  John was born December 18, 1954 in Buffalo, a son of Shirley (Jones) and the late Norman Bartel and had lived in this area most of his life. 
John worked as a plumber at Albion Correctional Facility retiring after 25 years.  He loved going to his cabin in Olean, watching the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres; but most of all he loved being with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.  He attended all of their sporting events and took them to Darien Lake often.  John always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone.
In addition to his dad, he was predeceased by his brother David Bartel.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 47 years, Debbie; his daughter Stacey (Jake) Olles; his son Neil (Rachel) Bartel; grandchildren Carly, Mia, Maggie, Jackson; his mom Shirley Bartel; brother Paul Bartel; sister-in-law Cheri (Massih) Gray; brother-in-law Roger (Pat) Boehnke; best friend Kenny Dlugosz as well as nieces and cousins.

(Albion)  Richard A. “Dick” DeCarlo, Sr. age 88 passed away peacefully February 24, 2022 at Elderwood of Brockport surrounded by his loving family.  He was born May 25, 1933, in Albion, a son of the late Joseph and Clara (Monacelli) DeCarlo and had lived in this area all his life.
Dick served in the United States Navy for 4 years.  He was a member of Holy Family Parish and Knights of Columbus.  He served as Supervisor and Council Person for the Town of Gaines for many years, Village of Albion Planning board, and he was also on the Albion School Board of Education. Dick taught Industrial Arts and Drivers Education at Churchville Chili School for 27 years, along with being a local developer of Albion Mobile Homes and Heritage Estates for over 60 years.  His passions in life were working hard, hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, his many rottweilers, his pond; but most importantly, his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Margie.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marleen of 42 years; sons Richard (Sabrina) DeCarlo, Jr., Dustin (Nicole) DeCarlo; grandchildren Mackenzie DeCarlo, Dominic DeCarlo, Matthew DeCarlo, Carson DeCarlo; great-granddaughter Halina; sister Mary Ann Braunbach; brother Joseph DeCarlo as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

(Clarendon)  John W. “Jack” Lusk age 87, passed away September 29, 2022 at the Martin Linsen Residence.  He was born April 26, 1935 in the Town of Clarendon, a son of the late John L. and Velma (Warn) Lusk and had lived in this area all of his life.
Jack served in the US Navy.  He worked and retired from General Motors in Rochester as a machinist for many years.  Jack enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, gardening, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary Howard; baby sister Mabel; daughter Molly; grandson Dylan; brothers Don, Dan, Dennis; sisters Dorothy, Birdie, Mona; son-in-law Arthur DiPilato.

Norma worked as a nurse for many years. She enjoyed camping, time outdoors, the Buffalo Bills and most importantly spending time with her family.

Arlene was a former member of The Golden Agers. She loved to dance, garden, can fruits and vegetables and take care of her family. Arlene loved her family tremendously, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda C. Mietz, age 81, died peacefully March 3, 2022 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. 

She was born December 6, 1940 in Medina to Elmer and Mildred (Bruning) Leffler and was a life-long resident of this area.  Linda was a long-time member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday school for many years.  She was a very devoted wife and old-school homemaker who took great pride in spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.  Linda was a great cook and baker and loved the simple joys of life such as going on her daily trips to Tim Hortons or Candy Apple to socialize with her husband and all the ‘regulars’ while sharing coffee and perhaps a meal.  Mrs. Mietz was predeceased by her sister: Virginia Messore. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Donald, her daughters: Molly (Stephen) McIntyre of Wolcottsville, Jane (Christopher) Harding of MI, her brothers: Stephen (Bette) Leffler of W. Shelby, Timothy (Tina) Leffler of NC, 4 grandchildren: Rachel, Justin, Bryan, Brooke as well as several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St.-Middleport, TUESDAY from 1-3 where her Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation at 3 pm. 

Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery at a later date.

Lucille M. Crafts, age 98, died October 17, 2021 in Niagara Hospice following a brief illness. She was born February 11, 1923 in the Town of Hartland to Kenneth and Hazel (Rising) Hawley and was a life-long resident of this area. Lucille was a faithful member of Covenant United Church of Christ, and was a person who loved to be in the surroundings of her home…whether it be playing cards, decorating for the seasons, or enjoying watching the hummingbirds. She also enjoyed going shopping and out to lunch but most of all, Lucille loved being surrounded by her family. Mrs. Crafts was predeceased by her husband Milton, daughter: Deborah Lou, grandson: Jeffrey Crafts, brothers: Belmont and Roger Hawley and her dear companion: Bill Vary. She is survived by her son: Marshall Crafts of Spencerport, daughters: Bonnie (Allan Schumacher) Snaith of Gasport, Pam (James) Bugenhagen of Gasport, other close family members: Carol, Sue and Barb, grandchildren: Mark Crafts, Jill (Rick) Schafer, Dean (Lisa Marie) Bugenhagen, Lisa Bugenhagen, Scot (Sharon) Snaith, Kim (Daniel) McDonell, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Blake was the owner of Custom Design Decks in North Tonawanda. He also worked for various contractors in the area. He was a great guy and family man, and his mother said that he was “the best boy in town.” His smile would light up the room. He loved golf, the New York Yankees and fishing for the big ones at Chautauqua Lake.

Donald most recently worked for Makotek and previously owned Don Vickerd Pools in North Tonawanda. He was also an independent contractor for FedEx.

Donald was a skilled member of the Deerwood Men’s Golf Club. He was the 2021 B Class Club Champion. He spent many weekend days playing with his friends in the club. He also participated in many area district tournaments.


He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the USS Vulcan.

Eddie was the proud owner of Fat Sal’s Pub & Eatery in Akron, NY where he was “famous” for his Buffalo logs and his quick wit. He was also a veteran in the U.S. Navy.

Tom retired after 30 years of working for the City of Lockport Fire Dept. He was an avid golfer, deer hunter and outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, his sister, Karen Cummings, predeceased him.

Wayne was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed spending his retirement watching movies and Westerns with John Wayne. He also spent time traveling and collecting coins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Laura and son, David Carpenter.

Winston E. Moeller, age 89, of the Town of Wheatfield, died suddenly October 29, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Loraine E. (nee Walck) Moeller and son of the late Ervin and Viola Moeller. Winston was an active member at St. John Lutheran Church as treasurer, elder, school lunch program staff, and organist. Winston also served the Wheatfield community as town clerk and councilman over a 26-year period supporting Wheatfield’s growth and development. He was a member of the Wheatfield Republican Club and the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. He was active in a number of community organizations while also enjoying his time as an avid bowler.

Of North Tonawanda; May 6, 2018 age 77 after a long illness. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose D. Sr, C. Jeanne (Tremblay) Bille and Brother Robert E. Bille. Husband of Gail Parske Bille; Father of Matthew (Michelle Kearns), Andrew (Donna Wielgus) and Jonathan (Kelly Miller); Grandfather of Alexander, Ryan and Aaron Bille. 
Dan had a long and varied career from engineer associate working on the Thor/Delta unmanned satellite program, teaching at Maryvale HS, Senior Technical writer/product engineer for local companies including Calspan, Inc., Worthington Compressor, Inc. 
For 9 years Dan was NT City Historian during which he established the Historian’s Office, collecting and archiving City documents. He was most proud of his efforts to preserve and maintain Sweeney Cemetery and compiling a complete census of burial records. 
Dan retired as City Historian in 2008 and was presented with a proclamation recognizing his service to the City of North Tonawanda. Dan was a member of St Mark’s Episcopal Church, N.T. History Museum, Historical Society of the Tonawandas, Historical Society of North German Settlements in WNY, Niagara County Historical Society and the Am. Legion Post 1322. 
No prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired donations in Dan’s name may be made to the NT Inter-faith Food Pantry or St Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Andrew is a graduate of Sweet Home Highschool class of 1983, Alfred State University with his bachelor of science in Ceramic Engineering, General Manager at Siemens Energy then Thermacraft Inc., he also held general manager and plant leadership positions for Morgan Technical Ceramics, Spectrum Control, AVX and Bourns. Andrew was predeceased by his father David Belling.
Andrew is survived by his wife Julissa Cerino Belling, daughters Julie and Jenny, Son Gavin Belling, and step children Giancarlo Figueroa, Monserrat Figueroa, and Felix Figueroa, mother Mona Lou (Campbell) Belling, Sister Brenda (William) Mott, brother David (Claire) Belling, also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Anthony J. (Tony) Minonno, passed away at the age of 74 on Wednesday, 29 September 2021 with his loving wife by his side.
Tony was born on 08 September, 1947 to Patrick and Givonna (Jane) Gigliotti Minonno in North Tonawanda, NY. He married his High school sweetheart Darla Reitsch on 4 February 1967. He graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1965 where he was a talented multi-sport
athlete playing football, baseball and basketball and he was voted best dancer of his class. Shortly after graduation he Volunteered to serve in the Army where he served in Germany and state side. Up on completion of his Honorable Military service, he started working in the automobile business where he quickly progressed to positions in management and then
achieved his goals of partnering in ownership of a Car Dealership which was his passion for most of his working years.
Tony loved playing sports and coaching hockey and he was an avid fisherman. He was a huge fan and supporter of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Tony will forever be loved and remembered for his sense of humor and way to make everyone laugh at every opportunity, compassion to help everyone around him and most of all for his love and endless commitment to his family and friends. He has left a lasting impression for
everyone he has ever met. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father in-laws Melvin and Donna Reitsch. He is survived by His wife Darla Minonno, His sons Anthony J. and Gregory S. Minonno

Antonio "Tony" DiFelice, Jr., aged 70, peacefully passed away at his home in North Tonawanda, New York, on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Surrounded by his loving family and under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice, he departed this world. Born on November 29, 1954, in North Tonawanda, Tony was the cherished son of the late Antonio DiFelice and Pearl (Zombotti) DiFelice.
Tony dedicated his career to CB Concrete (United Materials) as a Dispatcher, where he earned a strong reputation for his dedication and hard work . Beyond his professional life, he was a passionate hunter and motorcycle enthusiast who deeply valued time spent with family. The memories he created with his wife, children, and grandchildren were particularly precious to him, as were the moments shared with his late father-in-law, Eugene "Gene" Cramer, and mother-in-law, Marilyn Cramer.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane M. (Cramer) DiFelice, and his beloved children: Pamela DiFelice, Antonio (Joann Ford) DiFelice, III, Timothy (Ashley Weber) Rafferty, Adam (Miranda) DiFelice, and Kelsey (Derek) Anthony. His siblings, Pearl (the late Michael) Gilmartin, Sally (George) Marks, Cathy (the late Michael) Bonaccorso, and Samuel (Karen) DiFelice, will also fondly remember him. Tony's legacy lives on through his adored grandchildren: Marissa DiFelice, Adison and Lilian Rafferty, Jacob, Dominic, and Elloise DiFelice, as well as Layla, Jaxon, and Vienna Anthony. He is additionally survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Tony will be remembered for his kind heart, bright smile, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. As the family gathers to celebrate Tony's life, they invite all who shared in his journey to join them in honoring a life well-lived and a man who was truly loved.
